  1. Sorry, just realised I've already asked you the above, and been answered! Width is perfect, but I need a thick chunky depth.
  2. The bass looks good, can you give me the neck dimensions- depth and width at the nut? Thanks
  3. That's rather lovely! What are the neck dimensions (width and depth)?
  4. Whats the width and depth of the neck at the nut, please?
  5. I sold my Prosebass to Deb in a very smooth trouble free transaction.
  6. It does have dot markers in the following positions- 3,5,7,9,12 etc. I live in Dalton, near Barrow-in-Furness. The bass is definitely worth more than I'm asking. In fact, after I posted, I wondered if I might be upsetting Paul. He did give me a good discount, and maybe I shouldn't have revealed that in the asking price!
  7. An interesting post, this one. Is the bass actually for sale? I've offered the asking price, and provided contact details, and more than one PM, weeks ago, but it's still for sale! Maybe it's a bias against Cumbrians?
  8. Another bump, in hope of a reply!
  9. Thanks all for your kind comments. I think it is a real bargain. I forgot to say the fingerboard is coated with superglue, so nice and smooth.
  10. Another reluctant sale. I absolutely love Paul Rose's work, I've had five of his basses, including this one. Here are the specs: 30" scale Single cut 40mm nut Passive, VVT 2 Artec single coil pickups Individual monorail bridges Marvel straplocks The neck is black walnut The back is slightly spalted swamp ash The top is bubinga, maple, and black walnut It plays beautifully, and I really love it (the bubinga and maple are offcuts from my custom made Prosebass, so I have an odd attachment to it) but the neck is just too slim for my hand (RSI). That, plus I've ordered a fretless Prosebass from Paul! The bass cost me £210 delivered, and I would like that for it (It's had new strings since then). I could ask for more, then be bargained down, but this just cuts to the chase. Details of the build are available on Paul's Funnbass site. Anything I've missed, let me know. Cheers.[attachment=110994:DSCF1151.JPG][attachment=110995:DSCF1152.JPG][attachment=110996:DSCF1153.JPG][attachment=110998:DSCF1154.JPG][attachment=110999:DSCF1155.JPG][attachment=111000:DSCF1156.JPG]
  11. Bass now sold. Thanks to all for the interest.
  12. Thanks for the encouragement and bumps!
  13. Just noticed this. I think I'm very interested! I'm just looking it up online, then I'll get back to you. Any info you have would be great.
  14. Here for sale is my excellent L2000 Tribute. You all know how good these instruments are. This one is in tip top condition. There are two tiny little dings (pictured). I bought it last year new, but the inspection sticker on the back says it was made in 2009, so it must have been in storage. Everything works as it should, and the flame maple top has an almost 3D effect that's really nice, and the vintage tint on the neck is lovely and warm. My new Prosebass is nearly ready, so this bass unfortunately has to go to pay for it! I don't want to sell it, as it's magnificent, but needs must. I'd like £350 for it, and that comes delivered with it's own hard case, which I think is pretty fair.(I won't therefore be open to haggling!) I'm happy to answer any questions that haven't been covered. Thanks. Sean
  15. The Thunder balances very well, but the shorter top horn puts the top end of the neck a bit of a stretch away. That's what I found anyway.
  16. Thanks, forgot to ask as well, how chunky is the neck? I can't handle a very slim jazz style neck, and would need a substantial depth to the neck (L200 style)
  17. What is the nut width, please?
  18. Item now sold. Thanks for the interest.
  19. I'm afraid the preamp came with one set of washers/nuts. Or at least, I've lost the others, if I ever did have them! It's mounted through the body wood on mine. I'm not sure if they can be adapted. Sorry if that's not very helpful
