Thanks, just done that. My business Messenger has been inundated with them. I guess normal customers can still contact me as they will be loged into Messenger.

IT doesn't have a name. IT is known by it's make or colour. (That really should read "they" and not in a non-binary way!)
-
I always hear that too.

Anyone else got a particularly long finger nail?

Shouldn't that read "Fleeting happiness"

Just heard Rihanna's Please Don't Stop The Music playing in the background. I can only ever hear that song as her singing "Weasels got the music". I wonder if she was confused with a stoat or maybe some other form of mustelid?

It was on Saturday night at a local social club. Large venue with a great stage. We were greeted with. "That's a lot of gear for a band" (not really but we don't go out light weight) and then by the old boot on the door "Don't be loud, I don't want any of our members walking out!".. sigh. So at a suitably reduced volume that felt distinctly emasculating. The sea of tinted perms and frowning faces didn't improve matters. We did have between 2 and 10 up dancing at times, but 3/4 through set one, the old bag from the door comes in and waves to turn it down.. FFS we're not an acapella band. Second set she had buggered off so we turned the volume back up a bit. We ended up with about 3/4 of the audience left when we finished. Guess it turned out as a paid rehearsal. Turns out they've been enquiring about us doing Xmas Eve next year! Oh but would you believe it, every single one of us won't be available that night 🤣

Does it have a swastika on the back? Might as well cover all bases!

The problem with Temu is, their products are nearly all utter stinky poo and really cheaply made.

There is a certain style that ASOS sell and they are always reduced so I bought a bunch and then customise them. I'm learning more each time I do another one. It is a labour of love though! Trying to decide what the next ones will be.

Looking for the same!

They're from ASOS. Very cheap beige coloured boots and then I dye and pattern them. It's bit of a labour of love at times.

Well I like to customise the odd thing. Thinking about it, I wear these for my gigs and have worn them to go to gigs too so, yes

4 piece covers band doing a varied selection of songs our way. We have a fairly good reputation in the area (same as the OP by the look of it). Pubs typically £320-£360 (though we do a favour for our favourite regular at £300) Social clubs typically £400 and weddings and parties £400 - £600. NYE this year £1000, though I think it should be more. Bands not wanting to do NYE? It's down to one or two of them "wanting" (having) to do stuff with the family.. 😉 A local pub I know will pay a max of £400, we are in at £360 but getting a gig there is a nightmare, they are swamped with requests for gigs. We are flexible with in reason depending on the venue etc. We enjoy doing it and the money is a damn handy benefit from it. Oh and it's a fair share out at the end of the night. The only thing we divvy in for is PL insurance. Gear is your own responsibility. (Our drummer has a thing about lights.. we just let him get on with it 😂)

When some BCers say they're not much cop at bass.....

When you get that look after having thus described yourself "I usually play in the pocket but with the odd fiddle about up the dusty end" and you realise they're not a bass player 😁 -

Agreed. It's rock'n'roll innit.

It would be great. Sadly though I can't see it happening as this would force the courier into having to admit obvious liability when it's their mistake (which it always is).
