Marvin - let us know your verdict when you get it - i got the 2500 head at moment which i run through a hydrive 410 and an xl 115 but am planning on upgrading the 115 to a hydrive115 and the head to the lh500 - all i can say is that am glad i went for hartke over trace and saved myself a shed load of beer tokens

dirtyloops is good but just a couple of odd occasions where it seems like theyre throwing in just that little bit too much syncopation and trying to be too clever - and nobody likes a smarty pants do they but on the whole very slick and good technical playing all round - jolly well done 8/10 but anybody who can play bass like that with a straight face in their underpants takes the prize im afraid cardiacs win - no contest!

i like both types of music ... country AND western

Hi Len sorry i no pic of me - it might frighten the bass newbies into running away and starting up something a bit more gentle like a nice woodwind instrument or a glockenspiel or something thanks for the explanation - thats what i thought it was - ive had a pic in there since day one but it never shows up in the posts here is a screenshot

i had a 4+6 standard double , no modulators or fancy stuff - both necks felt quite good and id bother to get a good setup doen would have been very nice indeed - downside apart form the obvious weight issues and sheer size of the flight case was mainly the sound - really rather thin and unintersting on both but probably would have been more acceptable with a good setup and replacement tone circuitry would def buy another shergold six string or bass if the opportunity arose be prepared to spend a bit of time and effort to get the best out of it!

thakfully im no longer a newbie ... just as well the stigma of it all was starting to get to me ...anyway as im old and forgetful and not very good with all this new interweb technology can anybody tell me how i get a nice little pic to come up in the margin in the left alongside my rambling posting thank you muchly
