  16. Having a bit of a gas attack i bought an ELF tis rather wonderful little thing all things considered I got the elf 1x10 cab too sounds ok but tonally i quite like it through my hydrive 112 - looking forward to trying it out when i get the opportunity through pair of 112’s to see what the full power output is like anybody else have/tried one?
  17. not much interest in this and as i have been looking at it more finding a lot of things that i am seriously quite unimpressed with - so much so i am going to ask the previous owner where he bought it from so that i can make sure i never EVER buy a bass from them!!! off to the luthier for some setup work WITHDRAWN for now
  18. bump for the weekend
  19. sorry not really looking for trades
  20. i just bought a us j a couple weeks ago gigged it once on 27th for an hour and its gone back in its case and is up on the boards here and on facebook for sale - its a lovely bass in superb condition but i just dont like the feel of it but otherwise a huge J fan, like you say its not always easy finding the one you get on with when there are so many variants
  21. no marks whatsoever, recently bought by me two weeks ago used for second half of gig for about an hour - purchased from one very careful previous owner (very low use) - IMMACULATE condition no marks or scratches whatsoever - Olympic white currently with a tort scratchplate but original black plate will be included - active/passive with fender N3 pickups - new style black moulded hard case - all the case candy - more pics to follow - reason for sale - i prefer my status as my main gigging workhorse collect maidstone, kent or will deliver 'reasonable' distance sorry forgot to add not really interested in trades except possibly a sandberg california or status plus cash
  22. Maybe try listening/studying some easier examples , takenfive is probably the easiest that comes to mind, say something like gong/village master builder which is still easyish but requires more concentration and when you’re happy counting along with those search out some more complex ones and eventually you might be able to count along to something like zappa’s Keep it greasy
