Good stuff. How do you like the High Beams on your Bongo? I tried a set on my 'ray once and they lasted about half an hour before I couldn't stand them any longer. They accentuated the mids too much - not ideal on a 'ray.
Tried them the other day rehearsing, and they rock! Even though I was using a small Peavy combo they sounded great, full of punch and not too bright. But it´s true that I tend to emphasize mids on my sound... Cheers!

Still need to try at full volume, next Friday, band practice, lets see... Cheers!
I think the technical term your after is an EBMM wheel of fortune
Indeed, that´s the thing, thanks! I just checked and everything seems fine, although with these new strings (DR High Beams) I can´t have the neck as tight (lower action) as I´m used to, but is still comfortable! Thanks, guys!
Wind it back and see if the relief changes.
Cheers, I¨m heading back home now, will try at once!

Hi there, hope anyone can help me. Today I was adjusting the neck of my Musicman Bongo, they have one of this pieces where you insert a lever perpendicular to the body instead of an allen kind... I¨ve been doing the adjustments for years on my guitars, but I¨m afraid I might have forced it a bit trying to tight it... Is there anything I can do to see if everything is fine? Cheers
I'm currently playing a Warwick Corvette $$ - 2008 model with the baseball bat neck. When I first bought the bass I thought it was my dream bass and perfect for me in every way but lately I've been wondering if the neck profile is just way too thick for my hand, as after a short amount of time my left hand starts to ache. I'm a girl, so my hands are smaller than the average bassist. I've recently been also playing my Kramer which has a much thinner neck profile, and I can't decide whether it's more comfortable or not... even after spending hours playing them both and switching between the two. I can't see any noticeable issues with my technique, so is it possible that the neck of the Warwick is simply too large for me? It would tear me up to sell this bass but don't want to be causing myself problems further down the line.
Hi there, I had a Corvette years ago, and I had the same problem, the lower notes were too far away, more than any other instrument I had. Dunno if the neck is the same on this one, but if the bass is built the same way, I suppose that´s gonna be the trouble. If you lower the strap a bit that should relief you a bit, but in my case I just had to sell it...

Hi there, I definitively agree, these were amazing basses, I had one with 5 strings and it was the best purchase I ever made. I´m not a 6 string person, but would you consider trade this one for a Fender Precision American Deluxe?Have a look. Photobucket For what I read earlier, I´m afraid it´s not rosewood and it´s not fretless... Cheers.
