1. Here's the fruits of my afternoons practice! It's just the intro for now but hopefully get the rest of the tune down soon too. It's called 'San Diego' and is from a live album by and incredible Las Vegas club band called Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns. They do an outrageous Earth Wind and Fire medley too... Anyways, hope you like it, I know it's short but took me a few hours to even get this far! Cheers, Craig Just found a live video of them playing it!!
2. Yeah it was that very same gig! My mates band were supporting and actually did a coupla Lettuce tunes too. We're gonna do a couple more gigs before moving on to something else.... The Lettuce live in Tokyo album is amazing, they've taken all the old skool stuff that's been listed here and propelled it into the 21st century. c
3. Awesome thread, refreshing to see MUSIC being discussed and frothed over for a change here! if you haven't heard of Lettuce then your life is missing something: Also I will shortly be posting some links of my bands recent gig in which we did that exact version of Golden by Jill Scott and some classic Erykah Badu tune from Baduizm. Cheers! c
4. Amazing! Thanks for this! Gracelands is one of my all time fave albums, Bakithis playing is sublime and it's great to hear it exposed like this. Mmmmmm! craig

19. Hi Selling my Ampeg Classic stack which includes a punchy 2x10 and a trouser flapping 1x15! Both come with fitted covers and the 115 has castors fitted too to make it easier to shift around. Both cabs fit easily into the back of a saloon car (not both at same time tho...) and are 1 man lifts. As far as I can tell the 210 is no longer in production but can be found here: 210 The 115 still retails for £499 115 Looking for £275 each or £500 the pair. cheers! craig
20. I retro fitted the JE, it just made 'more' of everything, with a little more control over the mids and highs. It is a fair bit of kit, I don't use it all all of the time tho. The 'modular' connectivity of it is something I like, certain setups for certain gigs etc; cheers! craig
21.
Time to get a 4u 1/2 rack built Awesome rig. Do you prefer the Tube Jenson Di of the Aggie or the U5?
4u half rack....Now there's an idea! Heh. I prefer the Avalon DI, it seems a bit fuller and with more 'air'. Not much in it tho to be honest tho! I'm considering off loading the cabs in favour of toasted's old bergantino...anyone fancy some quality ampeg riggage?? craig
