HI
I am sell this bass on behalf of my friend Nikola Adamovic.
Some of you will no doubt be aware of the excellent basses he builds.
It is currently in the Netherlands delivery to the UK would be approx €55.
The bass has a hard case included in the price.
Any enquiries I will be happy to deal with but I assume Nikola will be along in person to handle any questions.
Here are the details on the bass:
For sale: Fbass BN5 fretted,
Nut: Width : 45mm (1 3/4")
Fingerboard Radius: 10" - 16"

There will be a ten string at Moffat this year.

Hi
Regarding the battery use. It sounds as if the battery is draining to ground some where. Check that it is not touching the cavity shielding any where. If this has just started it is unlikely to be the wiring but worth checking everything is as it should be.

Can't argue with you on that Mark..
See you at the London Show.

Forced originality? I've heard it all now. A new zenith in claptrap. Whichever way you wrap it up, copying other people's designs for the sake of chasing sales, IMHO is just poor. Come on guys - be brave. Make your own designs. If Leo was just like you, we'd still all be playing upright basses.

Hi
I see you are a asking for original design which I am all for but looking at your basses you don't seem to be buying any of these new original designs and there in lies the problem. Original designs are great but hard to sell so people bring out design to appeal to guys that have a pile of Fender basses like yourself. I have been asked for a Jazz bass I don't know how many times and like Sheldon I agree the world does not need another one but from my point of view my customers are asking for one so there will be J Type launch at the London show. I will however have a selection of my original designs there as well please feel free to come along and try/buy one -
HI
Just to remind everyone that we are now less than a month away from the Moffat Bass Bash. This is a ticket only event no pay on the day I am afraid so please keep that in mind. Ticket sales are open until the Friday before the event or until sold out which ever comes first. As always first come first served.
As always work shop tours if you can call it a tour will be available on the Saturday or if you want to have a chat about a bass I will be about all day Saturday prior to the meet up at the Balmoral.
Cheers
Alan

There was a good one in this thread but it has been taken down. He may still have it might be worth asking.

Hi
I had a look at the bass xx site and as far as I can see they do not use a lowpass or high pass filter in their design. It appears to be a sweepable mid which is not the same thing. As Mike mentioned it is bassically the same principal as many other 3 band EQs. The 01 a 02 preamps make use of several filters including sub sonic filtering which removes very low frequencies from the signal which means your amp/cab don't have to try and reproduce them. -
I would change one at a time. Either change the pickups and see how that goes or the other way round.
If you are not sure which of the two is the weak link in the setup.
Pretty much all my experience is with the Armstrong pickups I use. Aaron can wind pretty much whatever you want in the size you need for the bass,it is worth having a chat with him. -
Hi
The ACG EQ02 pre-amp is still very much available the 01 version is only available in my own instruments I am afraid.

It is about an hour and a half to Moffat from Perth. My brother lives there so I have made the trip many times. Pretty much motorway door to door. Moffat is 2 miles from the 74 so less than an hour from Glasgow and a shade more from Edinburgh. To be honest this is the first year there has been as much interest from here as there has been south of the border. We have guys coming up from as far as Bristol. If you want numbers I suggest you sort something out in the central belt. In my experience if it is not on the doorstep people seem very reluctant to travel any distance in this part of the world. If you sort out something in Perth I should be able to make it.

Hi Geoff
You are more than welcome. There may be another room come up in January depending on wither the hotel gets it finished in time. There may also be a room coming up if young Birch does not show a marked improvement in his next report card. -
Name calling and a drinking competition. Birch you are going to get into trouble. You are a disruptive influence.

I was the bald guy with glasses that was on the stand all day. I am sure Dave or John would have pointed me out. I did spend a lot of the day in the stair well talking to people so possible I was not there when you were. But fair point I don't have any ACG t-shirts so looked like everyone else. I did however manage to talk to loads of people so I was possible to find.
