    bartoloni MK1 are the pickups in there atm, just find its like a maze trying to find the right pickup with the right screw attachment (might just have to redrill the body to accept the screws from a 2 x 1 or something then)

    Morning all, had a slight problem in that the bridge pickup is completly dead on my 1 year old Ibanez sr705! brought it second hand and not worth taking it back or anything so looking for a replacement pick-up for it. 108mm width I believe and 33 depth! any ideas or tips as im new to the replacing pickups thing Cheers Chris

    as somone who has just picked up a SR705, 1 year old for 300quid I would say go for it, Restrung with a set of DR Black Beauty's (6 string set for 27quid off american ebay) and it looks the awsome (and then some) and well within your budget! you could even upgrade the preamp / pickups and still come in under!     Afternoon! just a quick one before I pay a guitar tech to have a look at it! brought a Ibanez SR705 (active) and today the bridge pickup stopped sending any normal level of signal! (barto MK1's) i get a low level signal with a high amount of noise and if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated! Regards Chris

    Right, brought this a while ago from here, looking for the possibility of trading for something Markbass / Gallien Krueger like so stock photos until I get home from work so the 2x10 combo, fresh from a complete service, new tube fitted ect. and the 2x10 extension cab.
