Here is my beloved MusicMan Stingray 5 from 1989. From my point of view, the best period for Musicman featuring an absolutely gorgeous bird eye mapple neck, 3 bands equalisation, the legendary alnico pickup and a lovely dark rosewood fingerboard. The original color was a dark green changed for a beautiful sonic blue (costed £250). This bass is extremely efficient for any situation, as good in studio or live, it has always make me very happy. Comes with a hard case. Based in London Islington, feel free to come over to try it!

Hi guys, I just moved to London. I have to sale my beloved baby : my 1982 Fender Precision Special Walnut. Only 200 made, this one belongs to the first batch of 50 finished completely in clear nitro cellulose lacquer. For the following three production runs of 50 per run, a tinted spray was applied except for the center of the front of the body in a sunburst-like treatment and then the entire body was finished in clear nitro. Active/passive Gold tuner and special bridge Mother of pearl dots 100% beautiful solid walnut body, neck and fingerboard About 9 lb £1950 From my opinion the most beautiful Precision ever made, and the active preamp adds more versatility. You can reach me at 0033 663113651, I live in Islington (highbury islington station)

For sale my beloved Alembic serie 1 bass from 1978. The “Stradivarius” of bass guitar The deepest and most subtle bass sound(s) I have ever heared. This one is a particular good one, perfectly set up with a very low action for a very fast playing. Normal signs of ware for a 34 years old instrument with a very nice patina, I particulary like the beautifull wood color. Medium scale, which is Mark King’s favorite configuration as long scale is unconfortable to play in a stand up position for most of people. It's the real Alembic without any comparaison with a signature model which I don't like. I need £2900 very best price. I live in Paris but I come very often in London. Here is my cell in case : +33 6 63113651 Cheers

I like the way that people like to critize. It's the same nice comment like : "Wal has never done a PJ model"... And too bad Paul Herman says the opposite. When people as Clarky (very nice gentleman) sell and buy severals Wal basses in a short time it seems nobody cares. I use to buy from him an Wal Mk2 and I sold it 1 month after and guess what? = from Clarky's opinion it was the best Wal among all the Wals he use to have and he tried to buy it back!! About my PJ wal , I missed it once at the bass Gallery (very frustrating), I bought it from Pierre (a very fine and nice gentleman and bassist by the way) and now I am not sure to be good enought for this Wal as I don't have enought time to pratice the fretless. Also I have a very good Precision who does 90% of the job. And yes I admit I am a victim of the gear acquisition syndrome as many bassists on this forum and my wallet suffer from it. I confirm this is my favorite among the Wal I use to have and I don't need 3 years to understand that
