Should read £425 Here for sale is my active Warwick Corvette Ash 4 string. I bought this in 2006 in Inverness, and immediately fell in love with Warwick basses (hence why I, a few years ago, bought a Streamer Stage I 5 string and a Streamer Stage II 4 string). This bass has active MEC pickups, an active MEC 2 Band EQ, wenge fretboard, ovangkol neck and swamp ash body. Very light weight, not sure of the exact weight but lighter than any of my other basses. Here's the blurb from Warwick -
The body of the Corvette Standard consists of two or three pieces of US swamp ash. With its shape, ergonomics and sound the Corvette Standard satisfies the aspirations of the most demanding bass players. The switchable, active MEC 2-way electronics and the MEC pickup combination complement one another. Three control knobs provide flexible tone control, in the studio as well as on stage. The highly sensitive dynamic response of the Corvette Standard lets you articulate the most gentle of nuances or slap it for crisp, fat basslines. Additionally, a 4 and 5 string passive configuration is available with single coil J/J pickups.
Now, it's been gigged pretty well by me, and due to the soft nature of the body wood, there are some marks. Beneath the G string, there is a worn area from where my index finger would hit when I slap. There are also small dents in the wood on the bottom of the bass, as well as tiny dents in the back of the bass. I've tried to take pictures of these, but you might not be able to see them. Let me know if you'd like some better pictures of them! On the upside, since this bass is oil finished, and the wood is quite soft, it would be very easy to strip the oil finish, sand the scratches out, and then re-oil the bass. If you wanted to buy this bass now new, it would be Korean made and would cost about £900ish (just looked on Thomann.de). I can deliver most places in London, let me know! Price drop - Final drop offers around £425 for a cracking bass!

Price should read £325! So, I'm finally doing what I always thought I never would! Up for sale is my Eden WT400. It's from January 1997 according to the back panel. I got it used a few years ago, and it's been my trusty companion ever since. However, I have an amp deal coming up that I need to take advantage of, and so unfortunately this has to go! It'll come in a Stagg 2U Hardcase with the rackmount ears, so it'll be nice and protected. If you know anything about Eden amps, you'll know this is widely regarded as having the best sound of any amp they ever made. Warm, but punchy, and the 3 band semiparametric EQ is fantastic for tailoring your tone for the room (of course, we all know flat is best!). Here's the blurb from Eden about the amp:
The WT400 Traveler is our best Bass Guitar amplifier ever. It is a mainstay with touring professionals and back line companies. It produces an impressive 400 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohms with a minimum of 3dB of headroom. The sound is expanded with such features as 5 band semi parametric equalization, Automatic compression, Enhance control, headphone and tuner outputs, as well as a pro D.I. and full effect loop, input pad, and stereo Aux. inputs. You can take it anywhere in the accessory shoulder bag. As with all World Tour amplifiers it comes with all of the international voltage selection available internally.
I'd say it's in fairly good condition, considering it's age. The only missing part is the cap for the DI knob. You used to be able to get these from Maplin, however I haven't seen them on their website recently. If you want to recap all the knobs, I'm fairly sure you can get them from Farnell or RS Supplies. Let me know if you'd like some more pictures, my camera was being a bit strange... Able to drop off in London, or can arrange postage! Will come with power and speaker cable, in hardcase with rack ears. EDIT: PRICE DROP TO [s]£425![/s] [s]£400[/s]! £375! What a deal!
