I just got some guitar related bits from the States that came to £100 plus £40 shipping and customs here held it for a week and then charged me £28 (£20 VAT + £8 handling charge). They did not charge me import duty as it was just below the amount they said. At £132 from America, it will probably attract duty as well and extra VAT on the duty. Probably cheaper in the long run to get from Germany and being EU, there will be no additional duty, VAT or handling charges! Steve
