    Just wondering what brand of vocal mic stands you would recommend. I have gone through two in the past year - one was made by Stagg and the other by Giraffe. I wasn't impressed with either of them, they both used cheap plastic bits that just didn't stand up. Any advice on what, or more importantly, what not to buy would be much appreciated.

    Just bought an SR 505 and I love it. The ultra thin neck is great for my small hands and the sound is every bit as good as my Warwick Corvette.
