Curious little pedal which produces a nice voice like effect. This sound can be enhanced by flicking the switch to 'fuzz'. It adds a touch of distortion and pushes the midrange. Three controls labelled intensity, range and resolution interact to locate a sweet spot which produces something I've only previously found from a Bassballs. I prefer the inbuilt distortion on the Mooer to that on the EHX, not sure if it'll make it to a gigging board , depends how it affects the bass in a mix with other musicians. First impressions; it's easy to get a good sound out if it, but only one sound, shift any of the nobs too far away from the sweet spot and you lose it. The fuzz makes the sound more middy and more prominent, it might cost some bottom end in a band set up.

I made a baby board. HB board came from Thomann ready velcro'd and with a bracket and fixings beneath for power supply - and all in a very nice bag. HB tuner (most excellent) and apart from the Tsakalis Audioworks Phonkify they were all bought second hand for not much cash. I'd possibly swap the chorus or flanger for a phaser, but all my core sounds are catered for. OCD alert, all pedals need straightening!

You won't beat that for the money Stubsy. Got me looking at fishing bags now! Mic stands and speaker stands and bass stands are a pain to carry, so that looks cool.

Hi Jamie. I've tried a few but I have to say the Digitech Ricochet, while not designed as a simple pitch shifter, is far and away the best. Assuming the Digitech Drop uses similar technology that would be my choice.

Just yo say another big box of Thomann loveliness arrived at the specified time . Excellent delivery time, excellent communications. Never had a problem before, and this was no different

I don't know what another mini tuner could do better. Lovely finish on this , bright as you could wish for whole display goes green when in tune not just the small lights.

Inspired by this thread I broke out my 2x8 and sat it vertically upon my Barefaced midget (1x12). Put the Elf on top. I know that the clever speaker people can do sums to tell me that this can't possibly sound any good - but it works for me!

I had, and will forever regret selling, the 1k version of this. Insane power amazing sound. If it wasn't for my never ending gas I would be happily gigging with it still. Congratulations.

Thomann's magic pigeon is delivering a Harley Benton mini tuner in the coming days. I'll report back..

I have gigged through the TCE 2x8 and am happy to confirm it is a very capable little cab. I only used it for smaller gigs initially, but got caught out once when the venue was way bigger than I had been led to believe. It was only powered by a 250 watt class D head so effectively 125 watts in a 7 piece band - and it coped.

Those looking askance at bulky adaptors, a possible solution is an international multi socket. Looks like a normal 4 gang but accepts US plugs.
