  1. Circle is coming along very nicely! Be finished tomorrow.
  2. Not done any of theirs but I'm happy to take a stab at one. I'll report back in a couple of days
  3. That's really nice. I love how different all these rigs are - that my excess can immediately be followed by your splendid and understated set up.
  4. My little Bi-amp rig. Stereo power amp into a couple of BF cabs. Signal comes into the line 6 then from there to the crossover. Two outs from there, each going to its own preamp. A guitar multi for the upper frequencies and Cali sound for the bottom. The joy being I can experiment with multiple different pre options. Everything gets tucked away into the rack, set up and pack down is fast and easy.
  5. There was a danger of me getting all Homer's car on it. But the first sketch the guy sent me was very minimal - it was, after all, only about the shape back then. And I was really drawn to the clean, minimal design. Just felt wrong not to add a ton of stuff while I was 'in charge'. But as time passed we junked the clutter and ended up with what I think is a beautiful, clean, understated design.
  6. No one cares about how you look after the finish, let's see some pictures man. 😁 Ha ha! That's a really good point..
  7. If it had a dark fretboard and matched purple headstock I'd be in serious trouble here. I'm struggling as it is. Good job posting isn't an option. Please say it isn't.
  8. I will I will, but it's snowing...
  9. Love this. Traces of Jello Biafara, King Blues, Scroobius Pip. Absolutely brilliant. EDIT in fact..
  10. I sincerely hope so. Of course only gigging can get you gig tight. Its like sports people, they can train all they like but the intensity of a match is something else. But my reading, writing, technical skills and theoretical knowledge have all improved.
  11. Whenever a song comes on in a book, I like to play it while I'm reading - helps create what the hip kids call an immersive experience. Sometimes it's a corker
  12. I offered my genuine 1963 sqwier affinity jizz as a straight trade fingers crossed
  13. Get thee behind me Satan! I still have a couple of HBs to complete my collection. Just to keep Thomann on their toes man.
  14. You all missed your chance, she's realised her mistake, it's now £1,200.00
  15. So no one wants me to go collect it on their behalf then?
  16. The bass is done. It's a nitro finish. This is something I often read about here but have no clue about. Any particular care I need to take?
  17. Pics of what though? It's just a plan at the moment...
  18. Sound investment for someone. Happy to collect it if you're too far away
  19. I thought it seems a bit cheap. There's a picture and everything
  20. Just seen a FB advert for a 71 Mm Stingray for £250. Can this be right?
  21. Love it! Had TRB on my turntable just the other day
  22. Following with interest. I have a couple of 10 inchers just waiting for a home.
  23. Think we need a Cort Lovers thread, I'm a recent convert too. Beautiful looking basses and once you start playing them, you never want to put them down again.
