  1. It's difficult when people queue up to bash a brand. How do you know how many of them actually used the gear versus how many just join in repeating received wisdom? As you say you may have been unlucky or Behringer pedals may indeed be unreliable. I know plenty of people use their PA gear without the slightest hesitation. I have an amp and cab from way back when which still sounds great.
  2. I suspect in days gone by my insecure, brattish self would have been way too jealous of his skill to admit how good he is.
  3. I thought so. He has a knack of imparting information clearly and succinctly. Doesn't hurt that he is such a versatile bassist either.

    Yep. That's pornographic.
  5. Used the 5.8ghz Lekato solidly for a few weeks now. It's absolutely perfect. I've no hesitation in recommending it
  6. If they're as good as the BC P Basses then this is a while lot of bass. I have an eye open for a china white J to match my P.
  7. Any suggestions for finishing this one? I estimate there is enough room for 2 more pedals.
  8. Most definitely. I'm a long time Zoom user and very interested
  9. I have to say it - some of them are way better than Boss. And the plastic they're made from doesn't affect the tone and is actually a hard substance which doesn't dissolve on contact with the air ☺️
  10. They don't make effects but Funny Little Boxes is an independent retailer. Another smashing bloke to deal with too. If he hasn't got it he will track it down for you.
  11. Look no further than Bad Penny FX Lovely people, cracking effects.
  12. Nothing I've ever played comes close. It's not a sound, it's an immersive experience.
  13. I fear I'll miss mine horribly when it goes but health issues have put me out of a couple of gigging bands and I can barely lift the thing so all in all it's not going to get used.
  14. You need an SVT in my opinion. I have been holding mine for another Basschatter ever since I had it completely overhauled and revalved. If he decides he does not want it, I'll be listing it here.
  15. Let me know how you get on please. I'm a comparatively dainty size 9 but was struggling to land on a couple of switches at rehearsal. I wondered if these toppers might help.
  16. It's funny, before I became a slave to pedal addiction, I saw it as a chore. Now I do it for fun.
  17. How can you hate Granny at Christmas!!!
  18. I think I'll let Bad Penny explain it! Our Dynamic Boost is quite the treat for any players board, however functions just as well processing DAW audio signals. This is a single transistor boost with gain, master volume and bass controls. With a slightly reduced guitar/input signal and the gain of the unit set to minimum you can achieve a clean tripling of the original volume, the bass switch allowing you further tone shaping, toggling between a bright treble boost or full thickness of your original signal. Turning the gain control will progressively add dirt all the way up to spluttering crunch, making this a highly versatile, dynamic boost for almost any occasion, it can be bright, it can be full, it can be loud or crunchy and is always beautifully articulate of your expression. I use it in a loop with my distortion so I can keep the distortion on (most of the time) then goose it with the boost which causes it to break up more when I want to get really nasty.
  19. Pbass left MM right then MM left Pbass right.
  20. They're not the same neck. MM has one more fret, otherwise they measure and feel identical
  21. I just had a look at the blurb on the BF site. Pleasantly surprised by the price, I thought it would be north of 300. I'm having a big box built which isn't a million miles away from this, and certainly costs a lot more.
