  1. There is no original and there are no covers. There is just music.
  2. Wonderful stuff! Thank you for sharing this.
  3. Another work in progress. Just feel something is missing but I can't decide what... I call it Fat Larry.
  4. The 4 string is on my watchist but it's a bit too expensive for me right now.
  5. When you factor in the high end of their range, which I've been to mean to try yet, I'd say quite a few!
  6. It's more comfortable than a Ric, to me at least, does it sound like one? It can.
  7. I was consumed with love - it looked so good.
  8. Been gathering pedals for an all Behringer board build. Just for the hell of it. But discovered that they don't do a tri parallel mixer. Until I sort a behringer based solution the EHX must remain. This is a work in progress, snagged a couple more today.
  9. The buyer is just doing due financial diligence. It's very nearly sold.
  10. SOLD This one is going to hurt. Beautiful, beautiful bass, bought here a few months back. I sorted the neck dive problem but my shoulder injury just can't handle the size of this beast. I'm always playing two frets too high! So 300 plus 20 postage please. Generic hard case included. No trades thanks. Original post here with pics.

    Boost

Not really, just looking to educate myself.
  12. Yes other pedals fit underneath without problem
  13. Can't recommend the Zoom B1on highly enough as a rehearsal tool. Certainly the most affordable option, second hand shouldn't cost more than £20
  14. Jake and I just completed a deal for a pedal, suffice it to say this was a fine, painless experience, great communication and the pedal arrived in perfect condition, well packaged. Happy to recommend this fine Basschatter.

    Boost

I'm new to the world of boost pedals, but I'm keen to learn. From what I've read they make your instrument louder. Guitarists can therefore drive their amps into overdrive by turning on a boost pedal. My questions: 1) How is this any different from turning up the gain on the amp? (Aside from being able to do it with your foot) and 2) What uses do bass players have for boost pedals? Thanks bass hive mind.
  16. So if I put a multimeter either side of the diode there should be no reading (assuming it has blown)
  17. I'm trying to fit this plate which came with the bass (previous owner converted it to passive) because I have a buyer interested in it. I've already set a very low price cannot spend any more on this.
