  1. I had both the 3 and the 5 and both were garbage. The Behringer is excellent, so is the tuner and the chorus. The filter and wah pedals work just fine too. In fact it's all perfectly useable. The multi effect is a bit meh, and I need a distortion still. Otherwise I'm nearly good to go.
  2. 😂😂 (You'd be surprised actually. Some of the discontinued ones are creeping up in price.)
  3. I have connected it all back together and apart from a couple of scratchy pots everything appears to work. I can certainly achieve recognisable bass notes from it. However... all is not well. It buzzes. Loudly. But only when I touch the controls. No other metal parts buzz when touched. Any ideas?
  4. The Donner one is excellent, pairs really quickly, goes weeks between charges.
  5. Aaaaaargh - completely forgot to put the expression pedal on the board 🤦🏼‍♂️ It's only a small volume drop, not much of a problem and fixed with a boost pedal. In fact the boost gives me more sound sculpting options with the filter. So a behringer expression pedal goes on the list! I will need a new bit of carpet at this rate 🤣
  6. It interests me particularly because I used to be so angry all the time, and always with other people refusing to adhere to my point of view. Back then if I accused someone of sitting on the fence it was literally the worst insult I could throw. More recently I've been trying to change the way I live and recognise that what other people think is none of my business. To be accused of being a fence sitter myself is wonderful indication that I am succeeding.
  7. Just as I thought I'd finished my all Bxxxxxxxr board, two more 10 quid specials arrive in the post. So looks like I'll be pulli g it apart again. The ABY isn't working properly anyway. I am running two separate paths, the idea being that the WAH pedal (and/or the filter) are on their own track which I can turn up on the level control of the ABY. This is to combat a palpable volume drop with the filter pedal engaged. Unless I'm missing something I thought the ABY would do this. However volume A increases both A and B, while volume B appears to do llareggub. I was using the EHX tri parallel mixer to solve the levels issue but it spoiled the brand purity of the idea. There is a clean boost on FB market for 25 sobs but I'm maxed out on my effects budget until next month.
  8. Don't bogart it man, send it round, quality street innit
  9. I have decided that kettle leads are not made, they actually come about as the result of a chemical reaction between lost socks and biros. I have hundreds more kettle leads than I've ever bought but can never find a pen nor the other sock.
  10. From my vast experience Digitech do pitch shifting better than anybody else. GLWTS

    Boost

I like the guy who makes JHS pedals, his YouTube channel is full of great pedal tips and fascinating history too. He suggests running one boost into another for an ubër tweakable overdrive effect.
  12. There is no original and there are no covers. There is just music.
  13. Wonderful stuff! Thank you for sharing this.
  14. Another work in progress. Just feel something is missing but I can't decide what... I call it Fat Larry.
  15. The 4 string is on my watchist but it's a bit too expensive for me right now.
  16. When you factor in the high end of their range, which I've been to mean to try yet, I'd say quite a few!
  17. It's more comfortable than a Ric, to me at least, does it sound like one? It can.
  18. I was consumed with love - it looked so good.
