  1. Is there any way to learn to recognise intervals if you can't sing?
  2. An excellent recommendation. Always thorough, fair and without irritating fanfare or gimmickry.
  3. Oh... I'm back in bed, if I can get up again today I'll picture the back, sorry.
  4. I'm having a tele bass made (not yet, fundraising still) and the only thing I specifically asked for was at least some part of the body to have been burned. Preferably quite badly!
  5. That weather beaten one is wonderful. Looks like my mum's ancient dining table and I know she didn't relic that! So either best job I've ever seen or genuine.
  6. Oooh, that's very interesting. Thank you. EDIT - no go I'm afraid. Set neck =no neck plate. Button on the back of body = not secure enough.
  7. Not the finish so much, I like that, it's the fretboard.
  8. I have shoulder problems, using a strap to prevent neck dive exacerbates the problem. But thank you. Oh God its true. All a bit cryptic that!
  9. Anyone else see this ad for a Line 6 Pod? I have censored it because I know how delicate BC is where every day English is concerned. Hopefully the impact isn't spoiled too much. I'm sure the seller will have got some sympathetic nods around here. Just imagine him opening the software for a Future Impact 🤯
  10. The Wind Up Birds last album, Summer Haunts https://thewind-upbirds.bandcamp.com/
  11. Depends. What had you eaten?
  12. Are there any non invasive solutions for this problem? I bought a beautiful bass hereabouts, it took a huge BC effort to get it to me, but I can't play it because I only have two hands and my left one is busy holding the neck up. Definitely don't want to have any holes chopped in it. The only thing I've found that helps is to hang something off the rear strap button, thus balancing the beast at the cost of greater body weight. But its an inelegant solution and unpleasant with a weight swinging around back there.
  13. Looking forward to mine arriving soon. I paid extra for the limited edition ones signed on the back by Ped.
  14. I love the artwork, looks like an interesting project.
  15. I am also following this with great interest. I am glad my purchases are helping in some small way towards the funding!
  16. Best is my beautiful matt black Harley Pbass. Played sublimely straight out of the box, looks fantastic (to me), and at a mind bogglingly low price I can't believe how good it is. Honourable mentions to my new Ashdown rig RM500 112 and 112 extension cab. Bought to be sensible and downsize from my Ashdown and Trace big rigs. Punches so far above its weight I love it. Also, my Nux Bumblebee pedal board is a winner in the accessories category. Pedal winner is undoubtedly my Littlebox by Bad Penny FX. A monster. Haven't hated anything I've bought but the HB guitar multi effects was a mistaken impulse as I wanted it for a rig so complex and convoluted it was never going to happen.
  17. Hoping one day soon it'll be seeing some action.
  18. Lucky my finances have been in a mess before you withdrew, or this would be in my collection now! Beautiful bass.
