Coming a little late to this party. Only sig bass I have is the Bruce Thomas Profile. I knew one day I would have one the moment it appeared. He is my number one bass hero so it was a bit of a no brainer. I really agonised over altering it in any way but then remembered what he said on his blog post - "Of course, you may disagree with some of my reasoning and want to tweak your bass in some way or another, which I hope you do."

Ha! I was teasing. You know when you have a keeper though don't you? I think we often buy basses because they're beautiful, the problem is that they're all beautiful!
