  1. Replied. ------------Biting nails, awaiting response.
  2. I played SC in Swindon yesterday and exactly this happened. Sweet Caroline thundering out as we packed up
  3. Oh yes, sorry, didn't mean that in a snide way! Just why can't they quote the actual price? Imagine if sainsbury had baked beans with 30p price label then at the checkout they added 5p handling and ten pence delivery charge. People would go bonkers.
  4. Anyway who's going to Bristol to see him?
  5. Even that 18.50 magically transforms into £22.21 including a £1 'delivery' fee for printing my own ticket. 🤦🏼‍♂️
  6. Just had a look at ticket for Cory Wong in Bristol next month. £38. OK. Seems like twice what I would expect, but OK. Then at the bottom of the page it said Face Value £18.50. Anyone know what this means?
  7. Great thread, couple of tunes I'd not thought of for my pub covers band. Country Roads gets an amazing response whenever we play it. Ironically I don't do it in any of my covers bands but I do it in my originals band and they go loopy for it. Zombie is extremely popular too.
  8. Gotcha! It's a 1X15. Could have done with 2 actually. First time ever I got told to turn up!
  9. Almost certainly not. Especially as I don't know what that is
  10. I'm at a gig, have to wait till I get home. Sorry folks
  11. Maybe I have put the pics up 🤔. Hopefully someone will want a bass their better half definitely won't see when they bring it home
  12. I find the only issue with mine (Mosfet) is it needs roughing up a bit around the edges. The valve one (I suspect) won't suffer this problem. Not that it's an issue for me i just bung a low gain distortion in front and job's a goodun.
  13. SOLD Here is my Indonesian black Squier bass. Black knobs, screws, plate, and bridge it also has a black thumbrest not pictured because I took it off! Looks cool, sounds great only issues are a couple of 'bruises' to the neck. Not sure how to describe them really, slight discolouration which you can just feel - I have pictured them. Not an issue for me but i know some of you like to mark your own basses. As ever happy to supply more pics/sound clips/videos on request, and delighted to drive this to you as long as you live in the UK and not hundreds and hundreds of miles away. The most significant thing you'll notice about this bass is it is feather light. Floats on the strap so anyone with Bass Player Shoulder will be very happy.
  14. The story has ended. This is sold. Up for your delectation and delight is my Radial Bigshot. Thought I needed this, turns out I don't! I know I don't because it's been sat here unused since I bought it. They say: The Radial BigShot i/o is an easy to use instrument selector that lets you quickly transition between any two instruments and send the output signal to your amp. Because the i/o is 100% true-bypass, it addresses the needs of the most demanding purist. To enhance functionality, input-B is equipped with a trim control called DIM that lets you use two different types of instruments and set the levels so that they match. You simply connect the louder of your two instruments into input B and set the level to suit. When passive instruments are used, a unique 'bright' switch lets you compensate for high frequency loss when using longer cables. The BigShot i/o is also equipped with a separate tuner output. With a simple foot stomp, the sound going to the amp is muted and diverted to the tuner for quiet on-stage adjustments. Super compact, extremely rugged and 100% passive, the BigShot i/o does not require any powering to make it work. This makes it ideal for pedalboards where the use of batteries or power supplies is painful! The BigShot i/o... the perfect instrument selector for stage use. I say: Sixty quid and I pop it in the post to you.
  15. Couple of lovely Ps on here at the moment. Three in fact and this is one of the nicest. Sadly can't sell can't buy for me right now.
  16. Looks a lot better than your description too! Good luck with the sale, I'm tempted and I'm actually selling valve amps at the moment.
