  1. Yep, two cabs, badges rotated, black grills, svt, bish, bash, bosh.
  2. This is what I have. Extended for 9. It is excellent
  3. 😀 Three B1on, 1 ms-60b (but in the market for more) and a B3. I like Zoom pedals.
  4. Wish you were closer I'd lend you mine
  5. was about to start another thread then remembered we're only allowed 2 compression threads a year so I'll stay here. If the experience of using a compressor is hard to define then I've discovered that going without one once you've become accostomed to it is a very unpleasant experience. Rehearsal last night was very odd. Bass sounded kind of crazy. Like it was four individual instruments all set up and amplified differently Weird.
  6. Got to play through a fellow Basschatter's cab the other day. Remarkable. You cannot get away with sloppy playing, it is so clear, unvarnished. Sadly I have now twice saved up for this project and twice had to use the money on more pressing financial commitments. I don't really 'need' another cab, in fact I'm selling not buying so I shall withdraw from the field.
  7. B3. I used this as a preamp straight into the power amp of my bass and was fab. Also used it as an effect pedal into front of the amp while pa guy used DI out to the desk.We were both very happy. Like you I have no qualms about TCE kit it's great but I've not used that particular pedal.
  8. Great amp. Seriously. Mine stood in for my SVT recently (which died during the soundcheck) and more than held its own.
  9. Hello Andy, welcome to another West Country low ender. Get yourself along to the Bass Bash next year, it's always good to meet up with fellow travellers.
  10. Aah, just 30 years too late for me. Back when I had a van and a working body I'd have killed for this. Good luck, hope you find a buyer.
  11. Tempting very tempting. If I hadn't just had to shell out to keep my Ampeg running I'd be more than tempted. Does it balance? I've heard these can suffer from the dreaded neck dive.
  12. I am following this with interest as I have long wanted to do the same thing. Never play my semi acoustic because of the hateful tilt. My envisaged solution was the same. Shape a block of wood, hold in place (somehow) pre drill body and block together, remove block, apply glue, reinsert block screw button on thereby clamping the block in place. Just the awkward access putting me off.
  13. It's a beautiful pedal, lovely LCD lights which you can leave on, leave off or have come on when pedal is active. Beautiful finish to the casing. Solid metal body. Pleasing knobs in the way they turn easily but have a little resisitance. Sounds awesome. Tracks well. No audible POP when turned on. Modulation an interesting add on, but not for everyone I guess. Rubber feet supplied but not attached. I've been through a number of octave/pitch shifting pedals but this is the one for me. Does the job without fuss. I love my Valeton for its O2 synthy sound but wanted something clean as possible without breaking the bank. This is it.
  14. Prueba del pedal nuevo de Digitech Bass Whammy por Pepe Bao : Forgot to say - I'll dig out the box for too.
  15. It is with a heavy heart I continue my pedal cull. My loss could be your gain. I present to you the Bass Whammy. Stuff of legend. It shifts all sorts of pitches and changes between them with the press of a pedal. It has two chorus like settings and the famous Dive Bomb. I bought it for a project which has altered direction slightly and a straightforward octave pedal (which I've now found) does the job perfectly, so this is leaving home. A couple of minor scratches you'd have to search for and a patch of velcro residue on the back, otherwise in great nick. Don't be scared by the 1300ma rating stamped above the power input, it's nowhere near that and I've run it off a generic power supply along with a bunch of other pedals. Postage on top unless you're local, not sure how much but I'll charege at cost and it won't be more than a fiver. You want to collect I gig in Swindon and Bath fairly regularly otherwise I'm near Wells, Shepton Mallet. Glastonbury. Come on you know you want this and I know my bass tech wants paying before I get my CTM100 back 😩
  16. Just not quite as good as an SVT, right Tone? 😉
  17. That guy is actually one of my favourite youtubers. Never bought anything in his recommendations nor followed his method and been disappointed. My review is on hold as this suddenly happened today. Granddaughter is the only thing takes precedent over music.
  18. Did a charity gig in Swindon. Down to play just 2 tunes ended up playing six, which was great. Love that my band has the confidence to play new material entirely unrehearsed This is our first year together and we've really gelled
  19. This Black Friday thing is becoming sufficiently well known now, I suppose retailers could have a case for saying you choose to buy the week before then that's your perogative. It's a trap for sellers really. People could end up selling nothing the month before then get cleaned out at a discounted price.
  20. I'll start a new thread and do a proper review but the first quick test suggests this is a Holy Grail moment.
