  1. Been offered it for 150... or possible trade. Worth thinking about.
  2. I always think smaller atop slightly larger is OK. Never the other way around
  3. No! I am the anarchist ref, there are no rules. Have at it, do your worst. Who says we can't have 6 different clips in play at once? Or 7. Come on we can do whatever we want to
  4. no, I um, I know what I'm doing, I, um, oh..
  5. I've not used it at any kind of volume yet nor noticed excessive hiss, but I don't tend to push the top end too much for my sound.
  6. I think you need to ask your local to borrow their skittle alley for an hour and try it. 😉
  7. Mine goes from a loud home practise amp to a very capable gigging set up when I add an 8ohm cab Most certainly does not drop off.
  8. Initial impressions are hugely favourable. Don't know if this recording does it much justice but in a mix gives a beautiful warm edge of breaking sound and can I'm sure get pretty nasty if you like that sort of thing. Plays really nicely with other pedals too. think you can get this with Joyo and Harley Benton logos on too - I just grabbed a cheapy to try. Anyhow first go out of the box
  9. Yep @AussieBassman you are turn as my appalling grammar suggested!
  10. Sorry mate. This game has a mind of its own. I started it with the idea that the winner got to post the next clip but as it turned out quite often people who win can't post until later in the day, so to keep the game going folk started to put up clips as and when they had them. You are indeed the winner so don't feel any hesitation in posting - no need to wait we've had two different games going at once before!
  11. Thread Resurrection Time. I played a couple of basses in our local shop today. A Squier VM Jazz with felt odd. neck was horribly bowed which didn't help but it just didn't feel right. I then noodled on a 4 string Peavey, dark with tort plate, rosewood neck. It felt light and agile in my hands. A slender invitingly playable neck, clear bridge pickup, thumping P Bass neck pick up. I didn't pay attention to what I was playing but I'm pretty sure it was one of these Zodiacs you folk were chewing over just last year. What can you tell me about them?
  12. Didn't Lemmy use a 'guitar' amp?
  13. It's where they took the name certainly
  14. I caught Chas out of Chas 'n' Dave* chatting up my missus backstage at a bug jam we were playing. Oi Chas out of Chas N Dave I said, sling your hook. He slunk off to the safety of the executive portacabin. *A comedy trio, a sort of cockney wurzels, inexplicably, if briefly, famous, but mainly only among Spurs fans.
  15. What about lying awake at 1am looking at for sale ads for things we don't need? Any help out there for that?
