  1. Which is where the request section comes in. You might be happy to deliver to someone twenty miles away from you who will be gigging near me or near where I'm gigging.
  2. Live driving if there is a bass or gig or beautiful person waiting for me at the other end. Otherwise I can do without it.
  3. Also folk could post requests. Like I live in Exeter and have a cab needs to be in Manchester. Maybe a Basschatter in Clyst St Mary might be driving to see his auntie in Bleadon and a Preston based Basschatter was attending a yachting event in Weston Super Mare the same weekend. Or something..
  4. I still remember my first time with an all valve heavyweight. Doubt it will ever leave me. Congratulations, that sounds like a beast of a bass amp.
  5. @silverfoxnik I've used Basschat Special Courier Service like this before - its ace. Wonder if we should investigate for our little deal. In fact there ought to be a thread dedicated to this. Save us all money and stress with Hermes and their none too delicate ways...
  6. I know. I spent about three hours untangling it all so I could go to bed
  7. Don't know which if the two thread derailments happening here is my favourite, but Sank's and Rich's has been beautifully played.
  8. Well I guessed that straight away but I'm going to give someone else a chance ...
  9. ... and time consuming. Playing with various configurations into two different amps and cabs. Distracting, diverting and a day off from rehearsing. Waiting on another board. Rather have multiple boards in a line than cram a fat one. I'm a bedroom fx warrior but one day this lot must see the light of day. Just for a laugh if nothing else. I'm usually the one teasing guitarists for their pedal obsession so I'll be eating humble pie if ever I gig this lot.
  10. Yup. Mogue. Or Mowg or Moge. Rhymes as has been said with vogue. Or the first syllable of Terry Wogan's surname. Unless you pronounce it Wo-gan. In which case a bad example
