I shall do as you ask. The bass became my go to, leapfrogging the rest with immediate effect, as soon as I played it. First time I gigged it I was approached by a member of the audience who raved about the sound. Might not be to everyone's taste of course, but if ever you're down this way gigging give me a shout I'll bring it along for you to try.

Well, the rather splendid @Lozz196 is sending me the proper P Bass covers so I can make my decision when they arrive. Will the PU cover get in the way? Will I ruin the elegant simplicity of the bass? Will @Mickeyboro come up with more Bruce Thomas related puns? Watch this space...

Well, based on the fact that he didn't, then I'd have to say definitely not. However, based on him saying "Of course, you may disagree with some of my reasoning and want to tweak your bass in some way or another, which I hope you do." on his website I'd have to say he kind of gives his blessing.

Thanks Steve, it is helpful I hadn't thought to ask about open tickets, however i suspect they are booked seats as the prices are all different.

It is surprisingly simple. Trust me I'm a ham fisted klutz and I managed it!

I know what you mean about the colour but the hole filling hack looks really useful.

@ezbass It plays as well as any of the Fenders or MMs I've owned. It sounds massive, is relatively light, and i think looks awesome. Put it this way my Fender Jazz went straight into a box ready to sell the moment I played the Bruce Thomas Profile.
