  1. More than tempted but fortunately for my bank balance it's way too far. I wish you luck with your sale
  2. Yep. I've ended up stripping it down and counting the old 1e+u 2e+u and seeing exactly where the notes fall. Thank you for your post because I was feeling embarrassed at my inability to just listen and play it
  3. Learning, among others) I Shot The Sheriff for a dep gig next weekend. Timing of the bassline is not immediately obvious. Great line though.
  4. Yes. Exactly as per the older version. USB midi controller like a Disaster Area one
  5. I am listening to the album Inner Urge by Joe Henderson. Doing an album a week as part of my education. It's pretty cool.
  6. I endorse this ☝🏻 sentiment
  7. Anyone know anybody anywhere could make use of this? School, rehearsal room? Anyone?
  8. Great pedal. Flexible, with a tight punchy compression and some grit if you want it. Works really well on bass 👍🏻
  9. My life underwent a similar upheaval a few years back. She bought me out of the house so I had a few grand to splurge in the Basschat market place and ever since I have been living the life of an itinerant musician. I'm pretty much broke by most people's standards but I wouldn't go back for any money. Hang in there mate, life can surprise you in a good way too
  10. Big old carpet covered classic. Will trade for an effect pedal. You collect.
  11. First gig for the reggae start up on Saturday night so we squeezed in a rehearsal last night. Sadly the drummer can't cope with the histrionics of one of the singers and has announced his intention to leave once we find a suitable replacement. This may therefore turn out to be our only outing 😞
  12. Oooh, sexy
  13. Bijou and beautiful The important bit here is my clean blender Renders all sorts of problematic pedals useful.
  14. Kept getting lost reading You're The One That I Want whenever it was called at a Bandeoke. The timing is crucial and there are position shifts for which my sight reading skills are insufficient. So I've been learning it, and for such a silly song I have to say the bass line is really good, Great fun to play.
  15. Yeah that is pretty crazy in fairness
  16. I'm not so sure about that....
  17. I am planning some mods. I'll report back on how they affect the sound
  18. I gigged this beauty last night and it sounded amazing and so many folk commented on it and took photos of it. Hate to upset the tone wood fan base but this is made of Lego. And it sounds absolutely awesome.
  19. I told both my friends 🤷🏻‍♂️
  20. Mine came after a fortnight. From Italy.
