Surely the fastest purchase to performance!

Bought a fretless bass (from a Basschatter) in a supermarket carpark enroute to a gig and played it at the gig. Good job it worked 🤣

Gigged mine for the first time on Sunday and it plays really well. Funnily enough I had to tap a couple of frets home too, and noticed a couple of buzzy moments at the gig. I have to agree with you about the neck @such - it is sublime. Looks and feels real quality.

A Sunday early evening Bandeoke for me this weekend. A pub in somewhere called Wantage 🤷‍♂️. First time there, booked despite the landlord being somewhat sceptical, and it went down a storm. Another one on the list.

Don't disregard the Joyo Splinter. People are beginning to realise Joyo pedals are very reasonably priced rather than cheap.

I prefer it than the original white for sure!

My bass tutor has decided I'm ready to listen to this. Never heard the band before - I was still into glam rock when this came out, dallying with Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple and not quite ready for punk (but I had a couple of years to get to my teens before that broke), but boy am I ready now. More for the bass and drums than the solos, but it's still a great listen

I got mine second hand for the price of a pedal. It's soo worth the money. I put it through a single Barefaced and did a full band rehearsal with it.

I used to assume the G&L headstock was a mistake, like they accidentally used some experimental melty wood. But then I saw one in the flesh and it's actually a beautiful instrument. A similar thing happened here.

Been wondering about these for a little while. There's a beauty on sale here in a natural finish, but I've always hankered after a green one tricked out with ashtrays. One came up suspiciously cheap on the 'bay so I nabbed it. It's actually very nice. I swapped the plate because a white plate just looks like a place holder while they wait for the tort to come back into stock! An old Harley Benton one I had lying around fitted after a little judicious shaving with a Stanley knife. Not too heavy, plays well, lovely neck...but...an annoying audible vibration noise which took me a while to diagnose. In the end it was a machine head very slightly loose. Sorted that and reassembled it. Beautiful now, sounds like a dream. It's easily as good as folks say. Even the headstock which I know puts some of you off (it did me) looks so much nicer in the flesh - although you'll have to take my word for that!

Bought a bridge cover off Danny. No problems at all, (he even overcame industrial action at the post office) and all went through just fine. Great communications, item as described, delighted to recommend this most excellent Basschatter

I agree with every word. Sometimes I use two of them but very often just the one and every single head sounds outstanding through it.
