  1. Excellent, thank you . I'll have to have a play
  2. Hey you clever people. Any way of producing an octave down voice like sound for the intro to Uptown Funk? I'm very much a learner still but am finding my way around the software on this pedal. Not expecting it to actually go Do do, do do do, but anything close to a voice would be fun
  3. I've a few Fender pedals now, and they're all very interesting. Does the above quote mean you've tried a bass through this?
  4. Anyone want to buy my SVT CL? If so I'll pop it in the motor and bring it along.
  5. Bought another filter pedal, cos, well, you know, can't have too many right? Anyway it was another smoothly perfect transaction, pedal arrived in great condition and excellently packaged. Another happy shopper here
  6. Gigged mine on Saturday and received plaudits from musicians in the audience on my sound!
  7. Just a quick update. Took my bulky Line 6 set up to last night's gig. My bulky, four times the price of the Lekato bug, set up. Swapped it out after multiple drop outs for the Lekato, which worked faultlessly thereafter. Then today had a rehearsal. Used the Lekato for another 3 hours. So it basically performed faultlessly all last night and again for three more hours today and still doesn't need a charge. Highly recommended.
  8. Ah, just read the opening post. Yes it's a no brainer. I recommend the TPM and an LS2 for those smaller spaced boards. The TPM takes up a bit of room not just because of its size but the cabling necessary (8 in total) but the controls are excellent, and blending different effects provides endless hours of fun.
  9. I've found the more recent HBs have exploded that reputation. All excellent weights
  10. Brilliant night at a local club. Loads of faces from back in the day reminded me of why the Norton audience is so good. Musically intelligent, up for fun and uninhibited. Played through my Trace Elf into a BF Midget and a TCE 2X8. If anybody tries to tell you that the Elf is a toy and only suitable for very small rehearsals or acoustic gigs, you can rest assured that person's advice is deeply suspect and to be treated with circumspection. I had to keep turning down during the soundcheck (no PA support) and ended up gain on about 2 and master the same. Got compliments from musicians in the audience on the quality of the bass sound and no one had any issues hearing me. What an exceptional little amp!

    Cat Burrito

Cat just sold me an Ampeg chorus pedal, first Ampeg pedal I've tried and it's a doozy! More importantly he is a great guy to deal with, super communication, fast well packaged item, very reasonable pricing and condition precisely as advertised. Happy to recommend this most excellent Basschatter
  12. Pub gig tonight I'll be using a small rig so I can at least know how the bass sounds. Not ready for backline free every time just yet.
  13. I have to say it's nice contributing to this thread again. Feels like a very long time ago I last was able. Big corporate beano in Bristol and the first time I've ever played with no back line. Very strange experience but it kinda worked. I have to say without the Backbeat I would not have enjoyed it. Seems to me to be able to hear myself well and with a pleasing bass sound I'd need a monitor so good I had just as well bring an amp and cab. However the band liked it (mainly because I arrived 2 hours before them and set everything up) and the audience loved it ... eventually.
  14. That's a really good point @Bigguy2017 my Cobra 90, my HH100 watt heads were tiny. When I went up to Trace it was combos
  15. Hi @M@23 it's a twelve, with the twelve inches extension cab. I got lucky, both for sale from different Basschatters at the same time. I used a Dymo printer to label the controls by the way. I just couldn't see the writing on the mirrored back plate.
  16. Anyone mentioned these? If so, I believe they deserve another go. Apologies to Ped, to Grolsch, and to the homebrew stores who supply the rubber ones, but these are so simple to use, under 4 quid a pair, and go on/come off so much easier, yet keep the strap tight and safe.
  17. Where is the best place to sit the sub in a standard two cabs on poles, one sub on the floor, type PA arrangement?
  18. The guy who built and fitted the PA in my bar used two core mains everywhere for speakers.
