I love my Boss Synth. I have come to realise that the ball ache of using a computer to alter a sound is a huge stumbling block for me Also the individual context of a band or room always calls for changing on the fly. If this is an SY1 but with saveable, easily changeable presets, then I'm in. £280 new. Hmm.

The Big Fat South-West Bass Bash - Now Sunday 19th September 2021

I'm coming, as is my singer (and bass student) Jo. One vegan, one voracious omnivore. I'm on the list -
But seriously folks..a more controllable boost with excellent tone controls is the Joyo Rated Boost from their Ironman range.
-
It speaks so highly of you too
-
It is a big boost. That much I can definitely say. I can't tell you how touch sensitive it is. It's not made it back to the house yet 🙄

Hmmm, I will have a rummage. Almost certainly have a case, an effect pedal of some description, let me look see. -
😂😂😂

Bought a cheap phaser. Nearly. The eBay shop sent an entirely different pedal which I kept in exchange for them sending me a fiver back. Its one of these and I was shocked by how well it turned my pretty, but bland, Cort bass into an active beast. The drive control also adds as good a low gain break up as I've ever heard. Cheapest way I know to transform your bass without tools.
-
Excellent, thank you . I'll have to have a play
-
Hey you clever people. Any way of producing an octave down voice like sound for the intro to Uptown Funk? I'm very much a learner still but am finding my way around the software on this pedal. Not expecting it to actually go Do do, do do do, but anything close to a voice would be fun
-
I've a few Fender pedals now, and they're all very interesting. Does the above quote mean you've tried a bass through this?

Anyone want to buy my SVT CL? If so I'll pop it in the motor and bring it along. -
Bought another filter pedal, cos, well, you know, can't have too many right? Anyway it was another smoothly perfect transaction, pedal arrived in great condition and excellently packaged. Another happy shopper here

Gigged mine on Saturday and received plaudits from musicians in the audience on my sound!

Best Wireless ‘Bug’ Devices for Home Use

Just a quick update. Took my bulky Line 6 set up to last night's gig. My bulky, four times the price of the Lekato bug, set up. Swapped it out after multiple drop outs for the Lekato, which worked faultlessly thereafter. Then today had a rehearsal. Used the Lekato for another 3 hours. So it basically performed faultlessly all last night and again for three more hours today and still doesn't need a charge. Highly recommended. -
Ah, just read the opening post. Yes it's a no brainer. I recommend the TPM and an LS2 for those smaller spaced boards. The TPM takes up a bit of room not just because of its size but the cabling necessary (8 in total) but the controls are excellent, and blending different effects provides endless hours of fun.

Waddaya wanna know?

I've found the more recent HBs have exploded that reputation. All excellent weights
