Hi

Welcome indeed. Have fun and see you around!
2. Does it look legit to you?
3.
Enabling members to flog things they no longer want to other members, regardless of the item, makes sense to me. It's not like our only interests and hobbies are all bass related, after all.
+1 to that. Also what about a 'Misc. Wanted' section? Could be a log in only jobbie.
4. Have had this myself in the past. I found warming up properly before a gig and making a conscious effort to try and not grip the pick so hard while playing helps.
5.
Finally bought this and was pleasantly surprised at how they've (finally) pushed their envelope a bit. More song variety, textures, counter-rhythms etc. And some nice bass lines. OK, it's a bunch of old Bobs doing their schtick for the 99th time, but much more adventurous than the last few albums. Whether it matches Back in Black or Highway to Hell is debatable, but give it time. For a bunch of blokes pushing 60, not bad. If you've heard it, what do you think?
+1 to all of the above. Respect to the Acca Dacca!!!
6.
...Now then, where's that phillips scredriver, lump hammer and hacksaw.
Ah, a man after my own heart! Happy tinkering and glad Watford Valves came up trumps.
7. WOW - Stunning looking wood
8. P.S. just had a ganders myself and they're having a 12ax7 sale!! Get in there.
9. Have a look at Watford Valves website and give 'em a bell. Highly recommended. Cheers, Jon
10.
That l'il ol' shop in Denmark Street has one smack dab in the middle of their window. Lovely looking bass.
Funny you should mention them...I was in there there the other day and haggled a good price on a bass. Didn't buy it though!!! They seemed very 'jaded' but were alright with me.
11.
...go and enquire there, you'll get a much better response.
Don't want to! I want my fellow Basschatters views
12. Anyone got one? Any good?
13.
How you getting on with your J Bass?
Hi Eude, I'm getting on great with it, it sounds and plays lovely. The neck is bang on Precision shaped and feels great. The SD Classic Stack P'ups are really nice sounding units aswell. Cheers, Jon.
14. Looking good Eude. I tried most of those stock basses out when I collected my bass...they are all very nice!
15. OBBM is the man. You will not be dissapointed.
16.
/rubs hands with ghee/
Why are you smearing yourself with cooking fat... On second thoughts I'll this leave this one alone....now
17. Now that is a fine looking bass! Any idea on what you may be looking for it?
18. No disrespect to the luthier and the customer but it does not do anything for me. Nice looking wood though.
19.
Gearwise it's a 1979 Fender P-bass at the moment which I've kept through the years of not playing. Got a Marshall MB30 for use at home and an Fender Bassman Head and a Marshall 8x10 at the studio/rehearsal space. I mostly do live stuff with different bands and for a couple of venues here in Oslo.
Cool gear! Thanks for letting us know. Jon.
20. Hello Mads, Welcome on board and back to bass playing. What gear do you use? I'm a sound man at a TV Studios here in London, what type of place/s do you work in? Cheers, Jon.
21. I came out as Victor Wooten!
22. V. interested. What are you realistically looking for?
23.
With all due respect, I did try switching it off (as well as on) to see if I could spot any difference - and therein lay the problem, I couldn't!
Hi Clarky, I've had similar problems and gave up in the end as most pub & club soundmen compress it for Front Of House, separately, anyway. 24.
didn't happen to see a lefty blue jazz kicking about by any chance?
No, Not at all Bassmonster. Sorry Mate.
