  1. I got an email about 10 minutes ago. I ordered mine on 1st August.
  2. New ETA, 12th Sept. FFS. Not happy.
  3. New ETA - 12th September. FFS. I might die before this effing Z7 arrives
  4. Not yet. Don't worry, I'll update if something shifts today.
  5. I've been on hold for over a month already and had the date changed on me 3 times. If it happens on the day of supposed ETA that's a new low in dangling one's customers on the end of a string, and I will be having words. I'd rather they kept it vague like Thomann instead of this cycle of raising and dashing hopes because they insist upon tieing themselves to specific (and as it turns out, unfeasible) dates.
  6. Can the pedal take a battery? If so, try powering it with battery and see if the noise goes away. Cheap power supplies can be noisy.
  7. It sounds reasonable, but give it time, the Z3 and Z7 have had a complication strewn birth. It had to be reworked twice, once because the Big Poppa got butthurt about someone having the audacity to use a 3+1 headstock arrangement, and once because Internet moaners made a noise loud enough to be heard about the bottom horn. Today, I'm waiting for the sowwy/not sorry email from Andertons, despite today being the day of stock ETA.
  8. If they eff us over tomorrow, I am going to be super unimpressed.
  9. Nine Lives next outing is this Friday, at the Butchers Arms in Inverurie. Probably yelling into the void here, but I suppose it's better than not yelling into the void...
  10. Well, if you don't get in on this tranche you probably won't get anything until December anyway. Xmas pressie?
  11. Bite their hand off - worst thing that'll happen is they cancel your order because it was a pricing error...
  12. I'm at the stage when I'm wondering if it wasn't a figment of my imagination. Waiting for the email from Andertons to inform me that the stock ETA has been bumped for the fourth time in just over a month...
  13. Noted, but to keep it the same for everyone (and so I don't have to go back in time and revise my monthly reports), I mark it down as the date of reporting.
  14. Hold my beer, we'll be right down Oh, wait, you said a "good" band. nvm
  15. @TorturedSaints, @MacDaddy - despite your late registration, I have nevertheless documented your journey on the road to hell paved with good intention!
  16. Right, before I deal with that, here's August's report: Two more drop out, leaving 21 remaining. 4 months to go - you can do it. Maybe.
  17. So, what are the odds the ETA will get bumped again tomorrow? At least the gap between the various dates we've been fed is shrinking...
  18. When that happened to us (incidentally it was also a football social club) there was also zero audience save for the bar staff. The difference was that at half time, they told us we could stop and paid us in full, which was decent of them, both in the financial sense and from the not flogging a dead horse sense.
  19. We are our own worst critics. I'm all for self improvement, but not self flagellation. Live performance will always have wee fluffs, they are but fleeting moments in time. Save the "perfection" for the recording studio, I say.
  20. Indeed - last kick the can got down the road was 3 days before the alleged ETA.
  21. Odd one last night at the Balaclava in Fraserburgh. Weird ebb and flow to the crowd, not busy, busy, not busy, busy then really unbusy at the end. Tales of fights outside the bar involving 6 folk and pint glasses being thrown around. Thankfully if true, it stayed outside. On the whole, pleased with the night though - 5 new (to us) songs thrown into the set and they all were played with minimal oopsies and went down pretty well ("Don't Believe a Word" was especially appreciated by a rabid Thin Lizzy fan). I got up to some wireless shenanigans, wandering off into the crowd during Highway to Hell and high fiving folk during the quiet (for me) bits. Some sound issues (chiefly singist mic feedback) but we managed to get on top of it. Good to be back in the saddle after 5ish weeks off for holidays etc. Gear was the Reverend Triad then the Epiphone Les Paul (not so) Standard into the usual Markbass tone cubes (Mini CMD 121P IV + NY121)
  22. Reviews say a lot. The one you get might be good or bad, "better" than an Affinity or "worse".
  23. Google "free PA hire" and see how many (actual) results you get...
