  1. Have a bump from a fellow Reverend owner. These are great basses if you're looking for something a little different, but still a fantastic sounding, well put together instrument.
  2. Because his signature is a bit ambiguous, the rest of my band refer to my JC Signature (and me by extension when I wield it) as "Slack Casady". Funny guys
  3. No-one is going to care - take whichever one you feel most comfortable with.
  4. I'm in a no hit wonder band, if that helps?
  5. Or me, you cheeky bas! Edit: oh wait, I forgot, no-one wants to hear our songs regardless of who wrote them. Now I'm sad.
  6. 20 dwindled down to 3 by the end. Bar staff so keen to get the place closed that they helped us load out. What an odd night, grateful for the 3 who stuck around to the bitter end but have to chalk this one down as a bit of a bust. Oh well, private birthday party next weekend, I hope the birthday boy has lots of friends. We'll even accept casual acquaintances!
  7. I think the whole point of the "Paranormal" series is to create instruments that could have been, but hitherto have not existed. As in "spooky, I dreamed about a bass like that" type of thing...
  8. No, all my basses are used interchangably at home, in rehearsals and at gigs with wild abandon and lack of consideration for the sonic consequences.
  9. Oh! What I'd give to be spat-at-in-the-face have the rehearsal room hoovered once in decade
  10. There's absolutely no way in hell I'd play barefoot on some of the stages I've stood on 🤢
  11. Traded a Guild B-402A for a G&L El Toro. I have neither now, I miss the Guild and I don't miss the El Toro ergo it was a mistake. The B-402A is rare as hell. Damn.
  12. Reason I ask is, you pointed it out - the L-2000 is the obvious choice for nailing the L-2500 sound in a 4 string, but the Tribute L-2000 has a neck like a half baseball bat (at least mine did). If you went USA L-2000, it can be specced with a Jazzy neck if you prefer. Quite a few people went for that, so if you could snag a USA L-2000 second hand, it might have a more Jazzy neck. The Kiloton will give you some of the L-2500's bridge pickup sounds, but there's no line boost, no treble boost. On the other hand, it has single coil mode which a stock L-2500 won't have.
  13. You don't mention if it's Tribute or USA you're talking.
  14. Just imagine the doge picture is in the background, CBA doing it, posting on the phone. SO MANY RED SKULLS SO FEARSUM BLAK HARDWARE SO METUL
  15. They've already got names, so no. I sometimes have to resort to colours when explaining which bass I'm talking about to my band members...
  16. There are always exceptions. Take the Epiphone Jack Casady Signature for example - the most common way to conveniently and expediently (not to mention cost effectively) obtain a Gibson Les Paul Signature bass. Do I care that JC's sig is on the headstock? Not a jot.
  17. You think all headstocks are hideous though...
