1. Is it an SM or SMC (does it have a compressor)??? You would probably get your money back IMO. They do seem to hold a reasonable amount of value. GL
2. So..is the asking price inclusive of shipping?
3. Blimey, its gone UP £30 in 10 minutes.!!!!

7. Front to back is 34cm. As is the 1x15 and my 2x10 combo. Standard depth for combos and ext cabs I think. Are you sure yours is 32cm??
8. Will get back to you today re depth!!!
9.
You should get something quite good for £1200000, or was that a typo?
oops, yes, well spotted.
10. Firstly, thankyou for all the helpful replies, deffo food for thought. I now agree that going for a lightweight amp is pointless. I am used to the Trace sound and dont really want to lose it. My TE head currently sits in a 3u case with a sh*te Behry tuner/racklight. I think I will rehouse it on its own in a light 2u case or rack bag to keep weight down to minimum. Ive read all of Alex's info on his Barefaced site and Im leaning towards a Compact for now, aposs adding a Midget later on. So, would a TE 300w head running a Compact be OK? Thanks neil
11.
Does anyone know if Trace Elliot do an extension cab for their combos ? I'm looking for a 4x10 with a depth of 32cm (which appears to be the depth of my 1215V Combo 2x10 combo. The standard cabs are a lot deeper than the width of their combos (mine anyway) and I'm struggling to find a match. Any ideas? Cheers
Hi mate I have a shallow 4x10 TE cab I may be shifting soon. It was bastardised from a 4x10 combo. I currently sit it on a shallow 1x15 cabinet. I will dig out a tape measure later and see if its 32cm and get back to you. Cab is fair nick and sounds the nuts. Its here:
12. Im starting to make inroads into my 40s now and the old Trace stuff is doing me in. I am looking for a lightweight amp and a 4x10 cab. I play in a function band playing usual functiony type stuff (bit of everything) and a blues rock band which requires more dynamic/loud playing. Suggestions and recommendations would be welcomed. I will be buying from Darren at Bass Merchant as he is top bod and only 20 mins up the road from me. Budget approx £1200k Thankyou.
13. Is this still available. Many thanks Neil
14. Fender never stopped producing maple boarded basses, they just introduced rosewood in the early 60s.

16. One of my first TE stacks that I got direct from TE had just come back from a Wishbone Ash World Tour.
17. Clue on the scratchplate!!!!

19.
He's up there with the best of them. I've not heard what he got up to since finishing with Queen and retiring. He hasn't done interviews. Can anyone shed some light on his post Queen life?
His neice works in my office. John is enjoying retired life, living in London. Has other hobbies, does a bit of writing. Doesnt do interviews, probably quite rightly as he fears the same old questions about Q and PR. Neil
