2.
for sale fender mim sunburst jazz bass offers plz
Well done 2 x 18 for remaining polite! Mate, as 2 x 18 says, we dont really offer as warmer welcome to new posters who just sign in, post a 2 liner with no pleasantries at all and expect a flood of offers. This IS NOT a classifieds forum primarily, its a community board that happens to permit members to offer items for sale. Anyway, we all know what a SB jazz looks like but we still recommend pictures!!! GL with sale
3. Short correction, its Chris Bates who is the sales guy (blonde hair) and Mark Gooday is the big boss man. Ashdown are only 10 mins away from where I live and I often pop in. Great guys, great company.

13. get the finest sandpaper you can from DIY store. Hold a sheet in your palm and give the back of the neck 2 or 3 strokes from heel to headstock, ensuring your palm is in full contact around the "half circumference". Thats it , done.
14.
I'm planning an overhaul of the wiring on my gold bass at the beginning of the year. It curently has 500k long shaft pots which are very easy to get as that is what Les Paul's use. Since I have a single coil pickup, I wanted to change this for the more conventional 250k pots. The bass is rear routed so I need long shaft pots but cannot find any. I've searched the sticky at the top and have found that Basspartsresource do them but since the exchange rate isn't too good, I thought I'd see if any UK companies are doing them. I can't find anything so i thought I'd ask here. Also, does anyone know where I could have a wiring harness to my own specification done? I have conceded the fact that I cannot solder and would prefer to have someone else do this for me. If there are any basschatters who are good with a soldering iron and live fairly close, I would be happy to come to you to have it done as I'd rather have it done properly.
http://www.axesrus.co.uk/
15. John Entwistle? An "also ran"? Your having a laugh.
16.
I put Status flats (40-100) on my P bass and was pleased with the quality of them, not too tight, really well made and they sound great.
Steve, thats encouraging, cheers. Anyone got any spare pup/bridge covers goiung cheap?
17. It struggles with low tunings, I even have to tune my E on the 12th harmonic for it to track quickly. Not ideal, but as a rack light alone its worth the dosh....
18. Yes, me too Paul. Ive gone for a set of Status HWire flats instead. Im really pimping up my SX P as a JJ Funk Machine. Flats, covers etc.
19. "The new lead is perfect for connecting a guitar to a guitar amp........" It seems they have thought of everything!!!
20. For £9, you may as well take the plunge. If they are crap, so what. Might even order a set myself. Regards Neil
21. Its not Pino, hes not doing that perpetual "chicken at feeding time" thing he does whilst playing. Also, I cant see Pino clapping along when theres no bass. David Van Day - had and still has the kind of face you just want to smack.
22. This is a compact PA system, not really a substitute for a backline. Ive head this system (albeit with 2 towers) in use by a band and it sounded phenomenal. Theres no need for monitor systems because the sound comes out of the towers 360 degrees. Im thinking of researching it further and possible canvassing the band re a joint purchase. Our current PA setup is so bulky and heavy. Lightweight PA................at last. No, I dont work for BOSE before you ask!!
23. No idea, try posting in the Amps section. I dont think Dave Hall had any input into the design of Marshall stuff.
