1. Just a visual tease for you!!
2. They are great friendly chaps too. Me with Bruce and Nicko few years ago.
3. SYFFO!!!! Translated loosely as " please review your choice of font!"
4. Cannot really add to the above opinions. I use my RS210 for rehearsals (with a loud guitarist and drummer) and it cuts through beautifully. I also rely on the 210 for all pub gigs, only having to add my RS212 for marquee/outdoor events. Not to heavy, very well made and IMO, give quite a clear old school sound, not HIFI. Very highly recommended. Best of luck. Neil
5. With respect, I do not see how sound samples will assist you, as there are too many variables, eg strings, tone settings, amps, computer settings, computer speakers etc. to give a reliable indication of sounds. All I would say is the active tone circuits on these offer a huge palette of sounds, meeting most needs. Also, they are beautifully finished and are well constructed. Im just getting used to my new J5...getting there and well worth it.
6. Yesterday afternoon we played our second annual CAMRA Beerfestival in Chelmsford at Admirals Park. The torrential rain kept some away but the turnout was great. We were in a huge open sided marquee, which was populated by a good crowd, thankful for shelter from the downpour outside. The rain did break and the sun came out for the end of the two hour set. We did our mix of classic rock and modern blues rock, which always goes down well at Beerfests. We did some quite demanding Joe Bonamassa tunes, mainly for some self indulgence but thankfully the crowd loved it. Finished up with Purple Rain (appropriate) and Comfortably Numb. Also, first non pub outing for the TC rig. Ran both the 210 and the 212, the RH450 DI'd through the PA. Awesome sound considering on a small stage. Cant believe how big this rig sounds, it certainly does not lack bottom end. Anyway, got the gig next year too, so looking forward to that.
7. I would donate it to Pakistan, which is a very needy country.....

11. Probably because there are loads of JJ models about, so Chris thought a PJ config would be more marketable?

19. I had a similar problem late last year at a gig, but my problem was on the first song of the set. The song was a great rock tune that starts with guitar and drums, then a strong pulsing bassline comes in............well, it didnt!!! Silence, nothing!!! I then started to check the leads into the cabs, leads into the bass, all seemed OK. As a last ditch check, all going on with my back to the crowd (not professional but unavoidable), I pushed the jack into the RH450 ........ loud bass back again. Relief. Finished song and set. I then looked at the jack on my lead. The tip was a different shape to other leads I have, it wasnt locking into the socket properly. I binned that lead and now use a different lead with a different shaped tip.No problems since. So, try a different lead with different jack shape.
20. Id say JAB are intials of staff member assembling bass, the others are just part/batch numbers. Put it back together and play the bloody thing!
21. Unless its For Trade only, you will need to post a price my friend.

23.
I use it for learning cover songs for the wedding band Its Simple to use and you can import songs directly from your iphone to play along to you can even slow the song down without affecting pitch!! Genius!!
Ditto. Invaluable for learning new stuff. Have to tweak settings and levels tho so as not to get a distorted bass sound.
24.
What`s the colour scheme - is it, please tell me it is, the white/tort pickguard/rosewood fretboard? If so, I`m happy to take this PM sent.
Looks like this is yours, as that is the only colour scheme the CV Jazz is made in, I believe.
25.
I think the originality/validity of the bass will affect its value far more than whether the venerable NW owned/played it. So if Barrie's estimate of £10-£15k is right, that's going to be pretty pricey for what could potentially be a bit of a hybrid as opposed to an all original.
You may be right....or wrong. On a grander scale, John Entwistles "Frankenbass" (made up of parts from a couple of basses) went for silly money, because of its provenance, regardless of it not being a complete bass.
