Peavey Millennium BXP four string, with bartolinis!
proy900 replied to Mumbles87's topic in Basses For Sale
MMM Bartolinis... (Cue Homer Simpson Salivation) I'm just around the corner too which is mega. Shame i sold my rig and now have nothing to blow it out of. So it's either buy a bass and run it through my TV, or buy an amp and use it as a door stop till i can afford a bass! Looking at a few others on here but i'm leaning towards this purely just for ease of collection. I'll get back to you about it -
i just stamped my feet and shouted "i want it, i want it" ... in a meeting room ... ... with my boss ... ... ... and his boss ... ... ... talking about our payrises. *SIGH* Job center it is then! I still want it though! I'll look in my sock and see how much money i have in there and get back to you.

oh... ohh.... ..... oh no, i've made a mess in my pants. That is beautiful! Having previously owned Musicman basses they are by way and far the best machines for comfort. Played a bongo 6 at an event earlier this year and i understand what you mean when it feels better than a 5 especially in the nose bleed frets! Best of luck with selling a bass i would have to riot just to have any chance of ever affording one. BIBBIDY-BUMP-BUMP-DE-BEURGH <-Brian Badonde sponsored bump!!!
i want this so bad, but my bad back/ cramped car say otherwise.
It fits perfectly into a car footwell and get a roadie/fella that comes to all your gigs, knows all the words to your songs, blows kisses at you from the bar when you're on stage, when introducing himself is all "hi im *gary* and i know colledge. We all have one, shame mines my mother. The weight is what makes it brilliant. Due to all the valves i think the volume knob should go from 0 to OH MY GOD! If you REALLY wanted it you'd happily endure the weight, infact you'd want it to hurt your back so when a hot girl asks why your back hurts you can have the honour of saying "was carryin' my VBA. Yeah VBA... of course i know its cool, wanna have sex with me? Awesome" So in closing VBA gets you laid Its science
Any idea how old the power amp valves are? Edit: Or what brand they are for that matter.
Err no i don't. I know my uncle never damaged it but don't know if hes ever had it revalved. The screw heads don't look like they've ever been messed with but then again i wouldn't know how to open it up correctly. Seeing as he's dead now i can't really ask him! But i know he kept ridiculous care with all his musical stuff, just ask Warwickhunt and Fellrunner. When its on being played they don't look even close to overheating so thats always a plus. Could someone be showing interest finally?

Drove half way to meet me when purchasing his Sterling and the bass was exactly as described, cheers Perry.
the mohican is blue now!
