For comedy value ask an unsuspecting band member to pick it up by the side handles and watch them chin themselves as they put way too much effort in...
I did something similar to a bassist friend. He very nearly threw my Compact over his head
Microsoft users: The much hated Internet Explorer is being killed off in Windows 10, to be replaced by a browser called Microsoft Edge. It is currently being beta tested by members of the much loved U2. You read it here first.
Yes, and I read it on a Sunday. Bloody Sunday, of all things.

For sale is my trusty Compact, which I've had for about 3 years. It is a 'Gen 2' version I believe, with chrome metal corners, black metal grille and twin speakons. It has had a fair few gigs in various pub/club type venues and has never wanted for volume or tone using my old Trace 200 and 250 watt heads. They are as good as they say. I'm reluctantly selling this to free up some cash for some other projects. I'm in the Brighton-ish area, and at the moment would prefer pickup, and can meet part-way if needs be. Cheers Geoff

Just bought Davey's Ashdown cab, with replacement Kappalite driver. Good friendly guy to deal with, recommended.
Would this do 800W into 2 Ohms? Or is that lateral thinking just bad thinking?
Its more than likely rated down to 4 ohms so It'll probably do a puff of smoke into 2 ohms. Unless there is output protection of sourts.

Id say Stanley Clarke as I think he had a tremendous impact but what do I know but out of the two you mention then definitely jack Bruce because he connects more with the mainstream but then again jaco is definitely a one off but I stick with jack bruce as my suggestion are you limited to just one of the two you mention?
It is rumoured Trading Standards have already been informed that the aforementioned product is already out of date before it even hits the shelves.
