What about funerals ?
That would be Stairway to Heaven, or Highway To Hell, depending on the client. Or Road To Hell perhaps. -

Marc Almond really struggles to make phone calls on his soft cell
Indeed. Apparently he manages to Say Hello, but ends up waving goodbye. -
I try to avoid ghost notes because they tend to scare me.
I thank you -
Hi cant quite see from the photos, but is this cab ported or sealed?
Cheers

Just watched the show on iplayer and the mix sounded very good through my 2.1 setup. Always something different on there that usually takes my interest and sends me on a Google frenzy
It was Davina and the Vagabonds this time around. -
And not only but also, before starting a band Marc Almond worked for an aggressive tele-sales outfit. He went from Hard Sell to Soft Cell.
True dat. -

With regard to dear old Micky Hucknall: every time I hear "I keep holdin' on" I just think for f###s sake let go, Micky, let go. And I hope you're a really long way up.
Yep. Micky please just 'let it go, let it goooooo...'. Oh god, not that Frozen song again -

Everything I have heard of Radiohead, except Creep.
Meatloaf's I Will Do Anything For Love
There are songs that I used to love, and still would, but can't listen to because they bring back bad memories and just cripple me.
Ditto to Radiohead. I like to think I'm fairly broad minded musically, with very little I don't like. Radiohead, however, is just impenetrable for me - except for Creep. Maybe I'm just not clever enough to 'get it'. -
Little know fact: Paul Weller actually prefers Marmalade. How interesting is that?

Chuck Berry's 'Roll Over Beethoven' was written about a large cuddly dog, and not about the classical composer as was first thought.

Contrary to popular belief, Cat Stevens is neither a cat, nor is his name Steven. Who'd have thought it, eh?

Renowned bassist Flea learns all his lines from scratch.

Tiny Tempah has successfully undergone anger management counselling.

For whatever reason it may be, to my ears all the Maple boarded basses I've owned have definitely sound 'spankier' and more resonant.

Now that is a description I like -
Slade got their name from the prison in which Ronnie Barker served time in the popular comedy called 'Weetabix'
-
The pop band Pulp got together while they were all working in a paper factory.

That's the method quoted in The Haynes Fender Bass Manual (by Andy Gibson) with loosened strings. Although he said he "does not do this in front of a client - it looks horrendous"
I do find it slightly ironic that a book about Fender was written by a Mr Gibson -

Will they be playing live?
Yes there are plans for a tour, supported by Earth. Wind and Fire have prior commitments unfortunately. -
In related news supergroup 'The Powerstation' are to reform, using members of AC/DC, ELO and Sparks.

I heard they were reworking 'Sweet Ohm Alabama'

Wasn't it the Electric Light Orchestra? -

Current reports are that Van der Graaf Generator were approached about the project but were decidedly neutral.

Bit of a shock, if you ask me. -

The Groundhogs called it a day?
Not for the first time, either. -
Enough of all this talk of kettle leads. Anyone for a cuppa?
