If this were a hifi forum, we would have been discussing the relative tonal merits of different kettle cables by now. Those 5amp ones are a bit of a one trick pony, if you ask me....

My BB414 has a Gotoh 201 bridge which does the job nicely.

Probably Downtown, but more in the style of the Killer Barbies than Petula Clark. A real sing along tune..

Id say it is an Ashdown MAG 600 with a different name, especially for Thomann. I rate the MAG highly, had one for few years, was reliable, better tone than the ABM imo and certainly loud enough through Barefaced cabs. It never missed a beat. Cheers Geoff

An alternative might be the Vintage VJ Jaco fretless. I had one for a while and it was very good. It's reliced,by the way. Cheers Geoff
