Bit off field here, but how about a pair of lightweight 210s? Easy to move, modular, and stacked with the drivers vertically will give good results in my experience.

Alright Lee, nice. I'm pleased the Carvin did the job. I'm also very pleased those cabs worked so well. And yeah, I found that stacking them sideways made a big difference. Result! Geoff

Celery. And not a bass guitar, but valve amps. 28 Years ago I was using a cobbled together valve amp that hummed, hissed, and failed at any moment. Never again - give me a reliable SS amp any day. I couldn't afford one so ended up slowly building my own over a six month period. Wind forward to now, and my current fave squeeze is my Little Bastard 30. It's divine.

Not sure what size venues you play, but a Compact powered by your head of choice that does about 400w into 8 Ohms will be quite delightful... unless you need a tweeter of course.

Two 12s would be a nice modular rig, and a pair of decent ones should do pretty much most things really. You will certainly save your walls and woodwork from further damage.

I was thinking the B2000's simplicity might suit me better. Would probably work well with my Super 12, and I could use the COmpact with it too - 2.7 Ohm combined load

Lee Odd question for ya - what is the back to front depth of the BX1500? I mean from the rack mounting plate to the rear edge of the amp. I have one of those SKB shallow depth 2U rack case, and would be interested to know if it would fit. Cheers Geoff
