    I am playing in two bands at the moment and have a different strap for each band! One band is a pop/rock covers band that I use a P bass with a plectrum. Low slung. The other is a a Latin/funk band that I use a J bass and play with me fingers and have a shorter strap. I tried the low slung P bass recently with the Latin/funk band and the next day I had wrist ache, so wont be doing that again!

    I have had several Beetles over the years. All gone now. I love 'em but they take alot of time and money. I am married with a 10 month old daughter now and play bass so cannot afford them at the moment. I will get another one day.

    I just bought a Precision bass wiring kit from John. It is top quality and the bass sounds soo much better now. Thanks John.

    I started gigging when I was 15 and even had my 18th birthday in a pub that I had been playing regularly in for 2 years. It was never a problem for me but this was a few years ago now. I was quite tall and didnt look my age, which helped. The rest of the band were older than me and used to like to hang around and drink late which got a bit boring though.

The holes dont line up and I dont want to make any more holes. Mine is an older 90s Squier neck.     Thanks for the input. I wouldn't be selling it if I didn't need to raise some cash. However, I have just taken delivery of a Barefaced Midget and have another amp so cannot justify have two small cabs and two amps.
