1. I ordered a midget and compact together about four weeks ago. Which doesn't seem that long compared to lots of people.
2. Wow, for both the bass and the price!
3. Just bought some picks from Gareth. Nice guy and smooth transaction.
4. I just bought a pedal from Zeebs. Smooth transaction. Speedy service. A pleasure to do business with.
5. I changed to the Elixer nano web strings last week. I have done two rehearsals and lots of playing at home. I am really liking these strings. They are a little bit slippery, its ok though. Brightness is still strong and showing no sign of diminishing. So far so good.
I can do x4 rehearsals and x2 gigs on one set of strings, after that I am boosting eq and getting annoyed. I have been using Bass Centre elites forever! I used to boil strings and could get one more gig out of them but I can't be bothered anymore. These elixir nano web strings seem very interesting though. I may try them out. However, I fear change .......
6. Did he? Well I am in no way comparing myself to him. He was very good.
So did Miles Davis...
7. I have been playing for 25 years and can just get by. I always seem to sound better when the other musicians are much better than me.

14. I have used more than one bass on a single track in the past. That can be part of the luxury of the recording process. It all depens on what result is required.
15.
Don't worry. Out of £30 there won't be much...
lol,

Bassnut62

Just sold an amp to Bassnut62. Excellent communication. Top chap. Recommended.
18. I have now found a really nice RW jazz bass. no GAS for a bass at the moment. I have also just ordered a Barefaced Midget. Whoops, that wasn't on my list.
I have cured my amp GAS recently. I have just acquired a Promethean and a Barefaced compact. I cant wait to use them in anger. Bass wise I am on the look out for a pre CBS jazz!! I missed out on one recently and am still kicking myself. In reality I will also be looking for a roadworn jazz or '60s RI jazz.
19. Just got in from tonight rehearsal. The verdict is that it does exactly what it says. The rest of the band commented on the difference. The horrible boom from the stage was eliminated and the overall volume of the band was noticeably less. 10/10 for the gramma pad.
20. As the person that bought this bass from Littleal, I am chuffed to see it has found its way back to him.
21. Works for me. That is a very nice bass. One day…..
22. Well, I have just ordered one from Dolphin music. I will report back on its success. The band I am in at the moment rehearses in a village hall , on stage. The bass boom is horrible.
23. on hold for Bassnut62 while he does some more research.
