Hi, I just got hold of an empty BOSS BCB-3 pedal board/case for three pedals. The patch cables i have in my bag are too big to be used in the case with the pedals side by side. No problem I thought. I will buy some slimline ones. They arrived today. They are not slim enough! bugger. I want these kind of patch cables. Can anyone help? I only need x2 Thanks.

I have just ordered a 'shiney' new 3TSB Roadworn Jazz and I am really looking forward to getting it. However, the whole road worn/relic phenomenon really annoys me! I want to buy a bass in perfect condition and look after it. If things happen on the way then so be it, thats life for a working instrument. Taking a sander to a brand new bass is sacrilege, imho. Having said all that, the reputation for these MIM roadworn jazzes has grown so much that there must be something in it. These sound like great basses. If only we could buy them before they are ruined and save a few quid....... It should be here by the weekend, pics to follow then.

Hi, I am selling these Bare Knuckle 60 PE Jazz Bass pickups This from the Bare Knuckle website: Using the same vintage correct fibre board flat work and Alnico V magnets as the '60 HF J Bass set, both coils of the '60 PE J Bass set are hand-wound with 42AWG plain enamel wire. Accurate to late 1960 J Bass coils, the plain enamel wire produces a tighter coil with slightly more output and a more aggressive tone. The bottom-end is extremely defined with fast response to playing dynamics; mids are punchy and solid while the highs are clear with vowel-like reproduction. Both coils blended together allow for full hum-cancelling as the neck coil is RWRP and hookup is vintage correct black and white cloth 'push back ' to complete the vibe. SOLD

I have cured my amp GAS recently. I have just acquired a Promethean and a Barefaced compact. I cant wait to use them in anger. Bass wise I am on the look out for a pre CBS jazz!! I missed out on one recently and am still kicking myself. In reality I will also be looking for a roadworn jazz or '60s RI jazz.
I'd be interested in the standard version, money waiting. Pm me if there is any movement on the price.
Hi, I can do the standard version, no problem. There is no movement on the price just yet as I have only listed today. If it is still around in a few weeks maybe.

Hi, I recently acquired this beautiful Fender USA '57 re-issue Precision bass on a trade with my Warwick. I am more of a Jazz bass fan myself. This bass is awesome. The serial number is V077521 which makes it a U.S. Vintage Series. The neck date I think I can make out to read 1997.(I may be wrong, pics available on request) The body is Alder with Maple neck and fingerboard. As standard it has the anodised scratch plate. Also comes with pick-up and bridge covers. the tuners are vintage style reverse as standard. There is minimal wear overall on this bass, it is in excellent condition. I have taken a pic of a tiny chip in the body finish. It sounds great. Really clear and loud. It plays beautifully and is set up with a low action. What else can I say? It comes with a hard case and can be shipped by courier anywhere on the UK mainland included in the asking price. The first £950 takes it. Sold

I sent my 1968 Selmer Twin Bass 30 to Michael after recommendations on here. He serviced it and sent it back to me for a very reasonably price. Top bloke.

Have just traded basses with Andy. He is a decent and honest chap. A pleasure to deal with.

I don't display amps. To me they are just tools so are kept in out buildings or garage. They take up alot of room too!!

This came up on ebay in September this year about 15 miles from my home. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250889211962&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123 I went to vew it and wanted it sooooo bad. I bid £2600 and as you can see it went for almost double my bid. I think that might have been a once in a lifetime bass I missed out on. It was perfect. Sigh.
