Why not just run the MOD power supply into a splitter, send one side of the splitter to the Dwarf and the other to the Cioks 4?

Zoom B3n - scrape in at just under £200 new, maybe a bit over £100 used. As well as Zoom's own editor, there's Tonelib-Zoom https://tonelib.net/downloads.html which is a simple and effective freeware editor for Windows, Mac, Android, or Linux.

New player (Hopefully!) looking for a bit of advice

Could I point out that two of the suggested basses have been right handers, despite the OP saying he's a left-hander? -
Just chop the headstock off. It would look nicer and balance better.

Less rubbish than his usual stuff...and some good news

Good point. He doesn't know where to stop with his nut filing, does he? It's nice to know that there's at least one person even more incompetent at handiwork than me. -
Broken link - https://wokwi.com/projects/new/pi-pico is what you want.

You have to pay extra for more than one bass string. I do like that he's redefined multiscale so that every bass in the world is. -

I don't think he's destroyed it, just written on it and wonked the tuners. Petty vandalism rather than destruction. I'm assuming he hasn't shortened it at the body end, of course. -
Or they'd decided within ten seconds of meeting him that they didn't want him and were letting him down gently.

Went for £150. Barnum was right. -

This one has almost the full range of improvements. Neck not positioned properly in the pocket, bridge dangling off the end, vicious assault on the nut, mismatched knobs. I've never met one of those Mazetis with the odd-shaped headstock in the flash so I don't know if he's reordered the tuners, but he's obviously swivelled at least one round. -

I don't think he's grasped the concept of scale length. He would appear to have put (probably) a 34" scale neck onto a body which would need the bridge moved in order to put it in the right place, but not moved the bridge. If it was a fretted neck, it would have been impossible to intonate it. As it is, the markers won't line up. -
I agree with @Hellzero about the OBP-3's being too powerful. I had one in one bass (IIRC it was the Sei 6-string) and it was just too much, it wasn't possible to do delicate adjustment on it. I put a Delano Sonar in instead. I normally have the tone on the bass set flat but it's useful to be able to make a change on the bass rather than the amp. I assume you mean individual tone controls for the whole lot, rather than per pickup? The OBP-3 has treble, bass, and switchable mid - do you want three band EQ? You could also consider toggling between on, off, and out of phase, for those extra sounds. These would do the job: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/113926665065

Our band started out as a five-piece. One of the guitarists, who was at least in his 50s, had decent gear and could play certain songs but had never been in a band before. As it turned out, he was completely incapable of learning other songs, and played the worst intro to "Paranoid" that I have ever heard. We persevered for a little while and then dumped him encouraged him to leave.

MIDI messages are pretty simple, each message consists of an initial byte which defines the message type, generally followed by either one or two bytes which are the parameter values for that message. For example, a note on message will have the channel number (1-16, which IIRC is actually encoded as 0-15) in the message type byte, a second byte defining the note number, and a third defining the velocity. There's going to have to be some sort of queuing involved, as sending two MIDI messages simultaneously would be a recipe for disaster. Unfortunately I can't be much help as my programming career has been 95% COBOL, with tiny bits of exposure to C, C++, C#, JavaScript, and Python.

One place higher than we deserved. I saw bits of an interview with her and she made Gemma "I'm a fan of the dictionary" Collins look like an intellectual heavyweight.

Specialist butcher?

Couldn't you have got more from an adoption agency or a particularly specialist butcher?

Oooh, good point. Sub Zero made a chocolate-iced sponge cake last night and I think there's still some left.

Any options for an allen key truss rod that is stripped.
tauzero replied to bubinga5's topic in Bass Guitars
https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/6-piece-screw-extraction-set-3---25mm/ I'm assuming that the Sire is clockwise to tighten the truss rod. -
Why did they bother telling UK viewers not to vote for the UK song? Surely nobody with ears would.

Dear lord, what did John Lennon do to deserve "Imagine" being so cruelly murdered?

Right, size specs change to the same dimensions as my GR Bass Cube 800 (40x35x43) so I could stack them up, as I wouldn't want to get rid of my bass amp, not knowing what the future holds. The band is fairly newly formed and I'm the only one who possesses PA. I'd rather not have the hassle TBH.

All of them.
