  1. Also listed on https://www.freeview.co.uk/help/updates-alerts/channel-updates-16-october-2024
  2. https://www.mediamole.co.uk/entertainment/broadcasting/information/freeview-full-channels-list-epg-numbers-and-local-differences_441854.html It would appear to be channel 284. Must see if it's on Virgin.
  3. Now we've got a car that won't get charged for entering the CAZ, I may go and revisit PMT Birmingham.
  4. The cheap EUBs started with the Palatino VE-500, then Stagg brought out or rebadged an identical one. I had a Palatino, later upgraded to an NS. The Palatino/Stagg/HB use endpins, the NS sits on a stand but has an endpin option. If you're switching between upright and something else, or have long gaps between songs/tunes, the stand is more convenient. I think you'd just have to change the bridge on an NS to switch to leftie (possibly just turn it round). You'd need to do something about the sockets for the side pieces to change the endpin types over.
  5. It might come in useful for a psychology text book though.
  6. I've got the pots as originally specified, I'll see how usable they are.
  7. I cable tie a DC power cable extension lead to a jack-jack lead and run the two between the pedalboard and the amp, and keep the adaptor behind the amp. Also, never wrap the lead from the adaptor round the adaptor, wrap it into a loop and secure it with a velcro cable tie. But BRX's method, or using a power supply that has a mains input, would be the best way if you have the room and/or the budget.
  8. Sorry, yes, but I'm waiting for the OSHPark board to get here from Trumpland rather than soldering stuff up now. And I think that the pot probably does match the original preamp, it wouldn't do so well with a replica '77 Stingray preamp like it's about to get.
  9. Rather than the entire blue section, just the part up to just under the G string, including the front of the wing. But as I don't play slap, I may be missing your requirements, I'm just going by what Peavey did.
  10. Pizza Express in Woking? Could be an attempt by Prince Andrew to raise some funds.
  11. Peavey also did this with the Grind - the groove didn't extend across the whole width.
  12. Pretty much risk-free from my experience of 20+ orders. The WS-50 feels a bit more solid and is a bit smaller, but with a shorter nose so it can't get into Ibanez SR jack sockets, and doesn't have the switchable channel selection of the WS-90.
  13. I think repairs are permitted.
  14. Current band does Twist and Shout/La Bamba, very simple, we just change the words being sung (and the singer). Previous band did Message for you Rudy/OK Fred with a tiny burst of Tide is high, again just changing the words.
  15. It has the pickup direct into the preamp already. And the 2-band EQ presumably isn't filter based as the bass and treble controls are both centre detented.
  16. No, he's now using the username "Bass Professional".
  17. I put Bart MK5CBCs into mine (one of the MK-1s was faulty) and it seems fine to me - original preamp.
  18. Or it was done in the 1980s when it was a cheapo junk bass and someone thought it would help stop neck dive, or wanted to make the headstock look a bit like a Vox. See also the addition of a J pickup to 70s P basses.
  19. Should really have had a look at the volume pot I was replacing before ordering - it's not a 25k, it's 500k. So I shall just await the arrival of everything else and make and install the replica early Stingray preamp.
  20. You might find it becomes hypersensitive for a little while until everything settles down.
  21. Lovely Ritter. I think the Roya shape is fantastic, a couple of my Antoniotsais are definitely homages to it (I didn't know about Ritter when I bought them).
  22. If you look at your attachments, you can spot the really big ones. On the right hand side of the attachments page you can see any posts that the attachment is used in, so you can edit the post and substitute the smaller image. Something else to consider is that if you have the same image in more than one post, make sure you "insert existing attachment" rather than re-uploading the picture - give them meaningful names and you'll be able to search for them afterwards.
