  1. If the cable was dodgy, the website editor wouldn't work either.
  2. You'd get depressed if you couldn't buy another bass?
  3. Have a look at what's out there, on Joinmyband, Bandmix, Gumtree, Facebook, etc. Avoid the obvious arseholes and see if you can link up with a band wanting to do a similar amount of gigging as you do.
  4. I've just reproduced this by running Tonelib-Zoom with the MS-60B connected, then starting the firmware updater while Tonelib-Zoom is still running. It's because Tonelib-Zoom has reserved the MIDI connections to the MS-60B. Try again without Tonelib-Zoom running.
  5. Does the PC give a chime when you connect the pedal?
  6. Just did a quick experiment with mine and a known good USB lead. Plugged straight into the PC, I get the USB connecting chime, and Tonelib-Zoom sees it. Plugged into a hub, I don't get a chime, and Tonelib-Zoom doesn't see it. Although the hub seems to be misbehaving generally now, so maybe that part of the experiment was doomed to failure. Anyhow, if the PC chimes when the MS-60B is connected to it, it's got a data connection.
  7. Zoom's Guitar Lab software doesn't work on the MS-60B anyway (I tried it yesterday just to be sure) - only Tonelib-Zoom does.
  8. Banzai Music may be able to help - I've bought Schaller spare parts from them before, though they only seem to have the washers, not the nuts.
  9. You may find it easier to set up patches using Tonelib-Zoom which as yet hasn't been updated to support the B6, B2-Four, or MS-60B+. It's one reason to stick with the older pedal until either Zoom or Tonelib starts supporting the newer one with external software (Zoom didn't support the old one so probably not much chance there). Edit: unless you have an iPhone or iPad, which do have an app to edit MS-60B+ patches.
  10. For a cab, you can't get much lighter than GR Bass.
  11. If an individual buys it, then they're a consumer, unless it's the individual's main business. So any weekend warrior band member can buy a piece of equipment (as themselves) and they're then a consumer. The Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994 gives a business rights concerning quality, refunds, etc.
  12. Don't get fixated on the neck length, fretboard material, or the number of bands of EQ. There's plenty of Ibanezes that would be somewhere near your requirements, plus the Peavey Cirrus BXP.
  13. Might just be the switch.
  14. There's the Doepfer MBP25 if you fancy a bit of carpentry or 3D printing.
  15. I agree, especially about that wretched processed/synthetic vocal.
  16. You're not going to give an opinion with no personal experience of it whatsoever? NAHAY?
  17. We're going to do "Live forever" by Oasis at some future point. That means I've got to listen to that scratchy whiney Mancunian voice several times while I play along to it. I think it'll get channelled into Moises to get the vocals split out.
  18. Jackson's problematic abuse was of boys. Gadd's abuse was of girls. So Jackson was a homosexual paedophile, Gadd was a heterosexual paedophile.
  19. You don't pay out $23 million to shut down a legal action if there's nothing in it.
  20. In part it depends on whether you want to switch multiple effects on and off in a single song. If you do then you're looking at multiple switch devices such as the B1/B2-Four, B6, B3n, HX Stomp, HX Effects, etc. If not then you could even use an MS-60B or MS-60B+.
  21. I'm using Alto TS408s for FOH and TS308s (previously FOH) as monitors. PA is vocal only or vocal/guitar if the second guitarist doesn't want to carry his cab in.
  22. What about that song on 25, "I made millions from singing about you dumping me, you bastard, so up yours"?
  23. The absolute worst thing about those conversion jobs is when one comes up for sale somewhere and the hordes of Fender fanbois pile in to whinge about the modification that was done to some cheap throwaway bass when it was ten years old and well past what could laughably be referred to as its best.
  24. I went to see Gary Glitter a couple of times when he was staging a comeback (well before all the paedo stuff came out) and got his autograph. He was a great entertainer. The first LP I ever bought was Glitter. Oh well.
