The Schecter stiletto custom 4 is crazy light and bloomin good too
-
I picked this up recently, its a cheap superbudget ebay job, only with a nicer body than usual, and a pretty birdseyed neck. I cant get along with the string spacing as im used to wide status sixes, that and i kinda suck at fretless!
I did actually sell it already but the buyer discovered a few problems so im offering it here as is for either a fixer upper/project or what have you.
The bass is only a few weeks old and is cellophaned as new, and set up to play; but along the way the pickups have failed under the B string :-( Im sure replacements are available very cheaply or that Andy at Wizard could sort em out. The sound from the other five strings is fine, very burpy and bouncy with decent bite and attack. (and yes, 'mwah'!)
The other thing is that the dots are in a funny place, they seem to be either slightly out, or i suspect, in the middle of the 'fret' which is something ive had on fretless basses before, I used to much prefer it actually and hadn't initially noticed it on this one until it was pointed out! Its a bit odd but again there are many ways to sort this if you wanted them on the note. Ive always found playing 'slightly to the right of the blob' better than on the line as it were! Probably cause thats how my old 80's jazz was.
SO anyway with this all in mind im offering this very new bass at a whopping loss to what i paid for it shipped very recently at £80 posted to yor UK mainland only door.
Or trade for WHY?
It looks great in the flesh and is well screwed together apart from the pickups lol! nice bit of kit for someone im sure, but fretless and me have had our day!

I've not seen the guitar one tbh But it's pretty much gt6 sized which puts it too big for gig bags, even the mighty igig.

The zoom b9.1 is OUTSTANDING. And the tuner can be assigned to a single press. Mine has replaced a full separates board after the best part of twenty years and I've not looked back once! It gets comments and compliments everywhere and with my iPhone plugged in is my main practice tool. I have all my patches in A-I for live and then replicated in 0-9 with amp sim for headphones/recording. The instant switching makes it very practical too and it floors the boss gt units I've dabbled with before.

I've checked and no dividers, but apart from some wear on the bottom piping it's in great nick and is a fab bit of kit. It holds markbass little marks and all sorts.

I get to stand in some good spots

I'm sad to sell but cash is in a bad way it's in good nick although has no dividers
It's listed here at bass direct with more info:

I should add that this is pretty much only here tonight/tomorrow (2.12.10) and I prefer unlined boards, and Delano jazz pups an audere preamp with passive tone an eub and an ibanez or fender kingman acoustic bass would also make the list. (Or a set of mordant short declaration 906 or 908 speakers in cherry)

Just got this. Its still cellophaned etc but it ain't working for me. So I may return it, but as it'll cost to send it back I thought before I do I'd offer it on here at £120 posted mainland UK ONLY or possibly swap for WHY
Trades would mainly be four or five fretless basses preferably passive pref jazz style or squier vmj/cv type basses or a vt bass perhaps at a stretch. Trouble is there's not much I need!
It's set up pretty well and ready to go

I'm gonna get into trouble for this, and I love both those guys, and I didn't watch it all the way through, but I thought it was really sloppy (duck n cover!)

I need to get up to speed with this pc stuff. I just plug an iPod into my zoom 9.1 and play along. How do I do all this computerness?
-
Yep I'd go with pluck back over the bridge pickup. Neck pickup backed off a third or so, fresh rotosounds bass n treble boosted a smidge, maybe mid cut a tiny smidge and it should come.

Long Gone I'm afraid

I always say its easier to learn, but harder to play well
