  1. Anyone know if this is do-able for not much cash? I have dismantled it but it looks kinda complicated. My father in law used to work in electronics and build hi-fi so I may get him to take a look. Has anyone done this? What sort of socket is needed...help!!

    Muse Bass Sound

I nailed hysteria just using an old korg pandora, much to my surprise!
  3. my local one has had the same stock since i moved here and massively overcharges for set ups etc, and are a right miserable bunch, i started off paying more to support my local music shop, but now i just think sod em.
  4. Prob have to forget this, one of the jacks has gone I'll get the father in law to see if he can fix it.
  5. Or I could sell it I guess for the twenty five I paid for it so I could by muppets blue loop
  6. Hazzah!! Join us!! I've been using a zoom 506mk1 since it came out and have one on each of my boards. I love them it just has 'my sounds' in. I've replaced it with a zoom 3000b a boss gt6b and a whole bundle of ebs pedals and always gone back to the zoom! I love it despite it being a tad noisy which I fix with a boss ls2 on my main board anfld hopefully a loop pedal soon on my travel board too.
  7. Hooray!! Thanks for the apology and I'm very glad it's all ended well. Have a happy holiday and enjoy the bass, I think it's very cool looking!
  8. It is the bass exciter I would reckon that double pedal might be too big though and I need to go from the pedals to the pedals with the zoom dosnt that one go from loop one to loop two then off? Gutted it looks close but not quite there. I need something like the napalm, smolskitech, or hopper. Dang
  9. seriously, i once stuck a fork in an industrial toaster only to wake up on the floor on the far side of the kitchen.................................next morning, i stuck the same fork in the same toaster with the same result!
  10. Imagine a man that could burn a house down by putting up a picture..... Now imagine him with a soldering iron trying to make a pedal good enough to use on stage.....
  11. As the title says really, the aphex is kinda tatty but in good working order and sounds fab! I just got it from a fellow basschatter and have no urgency to part with it as it's top, and the 2nd one I've owned, but I do have an urgent need for a bypass loop/ line selector pedal to take my noisy zoom out the loop when not in use. So I'm happy to swap with poss minimal cash either way if reqd. Pref as small a unit as poss.
  12. That's good then. As a long time user of both boards it's nice to see some crosstalk(chat?)
  13. welcome dude, i moved from Leicester just over a year ago, im a Leicester lad through and through! Gaf

  15. I don't think I've ever sworn on here before but I am getting fu**ing p*ssed off with this sh*t! What is wrong with people? I'm also now well in favour of blocking off the for sale section to newbies somehow.
  16. Listen to what people are saying, please dude beedster and basschat deserve better. Please do the right thing!
  17. Thanks there's not too many left to sell lol i've just decided to work through my Christmas holiday to try to earn enough to buy back my graphite necked 86 jazz special I sold to a mate. Lesson learned! Credit card=bad!! On the plus side I'm thankful to have owned so many nice basses over the last few years. I still hope to get the black six string status energy back one day too! (my first was a kay sg which i only used four strings on, then a kaman gtx53 pointy thing but not bad apart from the absence of taste! )
