i got an 86 body with no switch and mated it to my status graphite neck....Oh my F***in God its utterly, utterly awesome!, dunno how long ill keep yet another fender 4 banger kicking around, but this one is something else!

These are the £200 flat topped J set, and the pots are like 2 months old. The pups have been on my blue jazz for a while so arent mint but work perfectly are now sitting in an emg box with the correct pots etc waiting for a new home!
They are really punchy and great sounding and of course have preamps built in so need no earth, so no hum!

Until recently i had only seen the one with two vols a tone and the switch, but in the last few weeks ive seen one without the switch and one with the switch in a different place, all clearly fenders?, anyone know more on this?

My deepest condolences, as has been said before, we may not all have met in the flesh, but this place is def like a family and to loose one of us so suddenly is truly saddening. My thoughts are with Steves family at this time.

All change in the Gaf household and i no longer need this. It works fine, comes with another chip thing for some other mod thing? and has a blue light and is pretty damn near mint and ive had it for like two weeks from another basschatter and only used it once!

It looks like everyone is selling rays at the mo, and sadly i have to have a pop at selling mine too.

Its black sparkle piezo model with pearl guard, matching headstock and hipshot detuner and nice flamey neck in a musicman hardcase with MM polish cloth etc.
The bass in in great nick but does have some dinks and a finish blem on the front by the pickguard. Were a small piece flaked But is a really high spec'd (i.e. expensive) stingray ( priced it up on some interactive add the options watch the price type site and it came to £1700!)

(no swaps im too easily tempted and need the cash!) i guess id sell for £600 collected. (wounder!, it was valued at £900 s/h like 18 months ago!)
