  1. I’ve had a big change this year, returned to gigging on bass after several years off, but my newly covid-ravaged body couldn’t manage my old basses and rig. Subsequently, my entire setup has changed this year. But if I had to pick just one thing that’s spoken to me the most, it would be the lovely SR1200 (and switching to IEMs!). The worst was the Jackson spectra that preceded the Ibanez, the build quality was shocking. I was really disappointed.
  2. Seeing that weight makes me glad I didn’t pull the trigger now ! Enjoy 😊
  3. I no longer own the sr300, but the other two are real gig warriors now.
  4. I used the harmony singer for years. Frankly, it’s brilliant. Used sparingly it really lifts a performance.
  5. I was eyeballing that one too. Good buy.
  6. Colour me jealous!!! I’d love this in a 4
  7. Same and same. I’m down £400 this month from cancelled gigs.
  8. Since covid I’ve found I can’t manage my fender etc, so switched to these and have never been happier with my basses! I’m longing for an SR2600 in cerulean blue now! I don’t see me going back to bigger basses again now tbh. I desperately miss my old highly figured sr500 though, sold on here with deep regret.
  9. Bump for edit. Only one for sale now £200 collected includes cover and isolation platform. Used once.
  10. That’s a stunner! A few years back I built a jazz version very similar. Sold it to pay my credit card and have regretted it ever since. Enjoy it 🙂
  11. Both are Seen in the pic being used as my bass monitors. One is for sale. One is brand new used once, that’s the one I’m selling, with its alto cover. I’ll throw in the isolation platform. loads of power. Great sound. Very light. Ideal for bass, pa tops or monitors or guitar. Collection from Cheltenham only. More pics to follow. £200
  12. I bought a bass from Craig that turned out to have a few issues that were only revealed when I changed from his set-up to mine. Craig was amazing from start to finish and quickly had the bass shipped back to him and refunded me in full. He was always super-friendly and polite and couldn't do enough to make sure I was taken care of and reassured. A total gent and I would deal with him time and time again with no hesitation, A true credit to basschat and awesome human.
  13. Brilliant bags, I still own a single and regret selling my double. If I was remotely near I’d snap this up.
  14. Another vote for OnSong. It’s just bang on.
  15. I love mine, but it’s rather on the chunky side profile wise. But it is just ace!
  16. Many many years ago I was really, really ill. One early evening during said bout of sickness, I was busy festering in my misery when an unexpected knock at the door roused me from my wobbly pukings. It was my old drummer, who I hadn’t seen in a long old time. Somewhat randomly, he was clutching tickets to the Ozrics, a band I had no interest in. It turns out that they were playing in a local venue that night and he was insisting that I go with him. Feeling super-sick and unable to refuse his random act of kindness, I agreed, and dutifully plodded off to the gig. Once there I spent most of the evening literally propping myself up against a wall whilst the world span around me. The only thing I liked about the experience was the super attractive lady who seemed not-unimpressed by my casual demeanour, and would occasionally meet my eyes and respond with a coy smile… …Until I fainted on top of her, sending us both tumbling to the particularly sticky and disgusting floor in an undignified heap. All I could manage as I was being hauled away was a rambling apology and explanation that I was ill and not drunk. The next time I saw said drummer was several years later, when I was ill and he inexplicably knocked at the door with tickets to see Level 42 at a local venue in an hour’s time. True. And that’s my valuable addition to the Ozrics thread. 😂
  17. Funnily enough, I have a pair of headrush 112s that sound nothing at all alike. It’s a bit annoying tbh.
  18. Hi, it’s to stop clacking sounds if the string connects with the poles
  19. This sounds extremely familiar!!!
  20. Fab pedal. Dead simple, plug in a guitar and a mic, tread on it and harmony happens. No drama. Just brilliant 🙂 Tracks well and works fine. Good condition with box, psu and manual. One nut missing from a jack. £75 plus £10 posted. Or collection from Cheltenham.
  21. Fully working with the power supply. Sounds are just awesome! Switching is super fast, well made and lush bit of kit. Twin valves and expression pedals. collection only from Cheltenham £100
  22. This guitar is just fab, had zero intention of selling until I accidentally bought a new bass today! Minor marks on the headstock from the factory, otherwise it’s spot on. Has had very little use and is set up and ready to go. Limited run for 2021 and the FSR stuff usually goes up in value. daphne blue. £75 collected from Cheltenham only I’m afraid.
