8. Once I switched to vocals and guitar I bought a pa and guitar amp. Just seemed logical to me.
9. If you could cover postage I could prob ship neck off
10. Alex sorted out a purchase of my tbird in a most excellent and organised way top job.
11. Ah yes. The post festival season prune!
12. I do a lot of that stuff. Fender jazz into a MoMark head and two bergantino 2x10's with a zoom B9.1 pedal. Perfect for me for any gig
13. Cheers! Ordered one too
14. A few festivals, run to the sun was pretty packed back in the mid 90's. I've played decent venues, Glasgow SECC, Hammersmith/Manchester/Liverpool apollos are all a decent size, rock city is smaller I guess. I ticked between 5-9,999 best guess.
15. Hahhah. Yeah I would post but I really don't have the facility at present which is pain!
16. I need to move on this Epiphone t bird pro. I bought it for a specific band that's now finished. It's well set up and in very good condition with a hard case. I'm unable to post, and am based in Cheltenham. Fabulous punchy tone which can be heard here: https://youtu.be/v_IRy2_au5U No trades thanks £150
17. Sold I'm afraid.
18. It's all been said, but it really is a muscle memory thing. You just have to build it up.
19. I literally won't play without it. Even at at open mic, my compressor goes in the gig bag. Used it for 25 years plus on everything and never ever got this 'it kills tone/dynamics' argument. Not if you don't let it it doesn't!
20. I think five in a day was my most. Or could've been seven. I forget now, either way it was a long and busy day!!
21. I'm the vocalist in a few bands, and it drives me nuts. I actually hate being a singer instead of being 'just' the bassist. Simply cause I seem to be thinking/worrying about my throat 24/7. I went through a phase of contracting everything going. Especially in the early days of singing. As my technique has Improved its less of an issue. I did do a show once when I shouldn't have, and I did end up looking up silly, cold sweats etc on stage. Not cool
22.
Glad I'm not the only one who thought this!
me too. Didn't get it at all
23. Yep, just pulls right off
